It becomes very easy to live day to day, with very little thought of God. This is what we see happen with David. While his circumstances were different, the drift towards complacency is in him.

If you don't know how to pray, you will never know the peace of God. If you've never fasted, you may not understand the power that comes from it.

God's will is more about being than doing.

As we look forward to the new year and new season of our life, let's take a moment to look back at Moses and learn some lessons on how we should handle transition.

When you've been with God you won't forget what He's done, you will open your mouth and testify, and you will begin to create encouraging environments.

The only source of eternal joy is found in our relationship with Him.

One of the most wonderful and joyful Christian traditions is the celebration of Advent. Advent means “arrival,” and while it is a celebration of the arrival of Jesus Christ at His birth, it has also come to refer to the season of expectation prior to Christmas Day.

When Christ encounters people He does so with a divine purpose. In this message, we look at the encounter that launched Isaiah to be a prophet of God.

Jesus is present in our fires and his presence compels and convinces even those outside faith in God.

It would be more than enough if God simply walked beside you. But, God goes before you. Wherever you go God has been there ahead of you. He is always present through all circumstances.

In Jesus day they claimed to love the Word of God, but they rejected the Son of God. In our day we claim to love the Son of God, but have rejected the Word of God.

Our limited vision limits an unlimited God. We don’t change God, but limit OURSELVES by limiting his blessing to us and through us.

If we aren’t careful we will become so busy living a blessed life that we will neglect to show gratitude to the source of our blessings.

How you respond to offenses is a pivot point for anyone choosing a blessed life.

The Bible links stewardship to spiritual treasure and blessings.

From a Biblical point of view God owns everything, including you. The tithe is a measurement of who is the owner, and a blessed life doesn’t steal from God.

The first key to a blessed life is obedience. A blessed life is promised by God, and anyone can have a blessed life, but a blessed life requires obedience to God.

Godly living is characterized by a life lived to please God and a life that pleases God.

The opportunity we have for God to affect the church, the community, city, state, nation, and world, begins our willingness to first allow Him to affect our family.

In calling us out of a life lived by our own values and for our own purposes, God also called us into His family – a family with shared values, shared purpose, and shared provision supplied by our heavenly Father.

Like a puzzle, we are complete when each piece is present, in the right place and connected..
