The Birth of Jesus is Rooted deeply in HOPE. John 12:32 states, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” Jesus draws people from every region, tribe, tongue, language, and nation. He wants us to be drawn out of the darkness and become “sons of light.” #magneticmessiah

Psalm 17 teaches us how to pray when facing difficult circumstances and people in life.  We can ask God with confidence to Support, Protect, and Rescue us. One day, we will see his face; until then, we are invited to pray.

Godly character can be seen in the life of a Follower of Jesus as the Holy Spirit continues his work of sanctification. The list of Godly Character traits in Psalm 15 helps us to recognize the Spirit’s work.

When you’re underwater in life, cast all your anxiety on Jesus… his shoulders are broad and he can handle it. He will help you raise your head above the water, and then set your feet on solid ground.

When troubles come, we face a choice: flee in fear or take refuge in God. In Psalm 11, David rejects advice to run from danger, instead declaring his trust in God's sovereignty.

People seek refuge from the brokenness in our world by running to Money, Relationships, and Achievement… they all disappoint. In Psalm 7, we embrace that only “God Most High” can defend us and overcome on our behalf.
