Jesus has a way of upping the standard of how we live and love. Just before he gave his life as a sacrifice for fallen humanity he revealed a NEW Commandment. What does it mean to be “called”? What do we do with a statement like, “God is calling me to…”? It is important to bring understanding to some of these statements that the scriptures address and yet many misunderstand. God is calling. God is Good and his Goodness is meant to Overflow. His Goodness is meant to Overflow into every part of our world including the darkest places.

Many hope that God will move in huge, earth shaking, rock breaking ways in 2017. God sometimes brings about transformation in these magnificent ways but most often he chooses to be Emmanuel (God with us) in the ordinary moments of life and bring about continual transformation. Many Christians feel sidelined in their faith. Many feel they don’t have much if anything to offer to Christ and to others… The Savior loves to meet us right where we are and call us to 'follow him'. He would encourage us to “bring what we have” and he will use it exponentially for his purposes and for his glory. It’s Time to Go… “ALL IN”! #ALL IN

We can all get stuck in life. We can get stuck in destructive habits and destructive cycles. Jesus came and gave his life in order that we might be radically set free. We don’t need just another set of New Year’s Resolutions… we are in need of true Revolution. God’s plan has always been to to revolutionize our lives. He wants to Adopt us into his family by Redeeming us out of captivity and then Sealing us with the Holy Spirit. Bring on the Revolution!!

Jesus is alive. The Holy Spirit is on the move. It is time for the church to rise up and BE the Church. When we commit ourselves to Jesus and his purposes, love believers and unbelievers, pray and live generously… look out because it's about to get amazing!! #BEtheChurch

If you could know the future it would most definitely change the way you live today. The amazing reality for every believer in Jesus Christ is that we can know with certainty the future as recorded in the scriptures. Jesus is worthy and therefore worth following Today!

Both Atheists and Christians struggle with the reality of Suffering. Suffering is not something that is simply an intellectual problem, it is something that is experienced mentally, emotionally, physically and emotionally. Jesus understands what it means to suffer and he has power walk with each of us through it.

Our number ONE priority for 2015 is to align ourselves with Christ’s priorities. He hasn’t left us guessing what they are… he told those first disciples and it was recorded by the Apostle Matthew in order for us all to be on the same page. What a powerful year of ministry this will be if stay IN STEP with the Holy Spirit and embrace his priorities.

There are some things that you should & should not bring with you into the New Year. Fear… is not from the Lord and should not be brought into this New Year. Power, Love and Self Control are from the Lord and he would definitely want you to bring them into the New year. May our faith Shine Bright in 2015!

In each new season we will need to stay close to Jesus. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

We are all made in the image of God. Every person is intended to reflect the Creator. Two ways that we reflect the creator is by Working Hard and Resting Well. Both require conviction and discipline and both reveal our Savior.

hat Makes a Great Church? It is an important question that must be answered correctly. The world is filled with religious institutions who have answered it incorrectly. Hint: The answer will include… Making Jesus the priority, Motivated by the Gospel and being an agent of change for the city!!
