I picked up the DigiRig DR-891 sound interface, which is specifically made for the Yaesu FT-891 radio. The FT-891 doesn't have its own built-in sound card, so this interface is a great step towards making the FT-891 plug-n-play. Let's take a look at how to set this up and how simple it is to make FT8 contacts from POTA with this DigiRig. Today's video is sponsored by Ham Radio Prep - save 20% off...

I caught up with Joe at the Huntsville Hamfest of 2024 - the ComJot CJ-1 Project is coming along nicely and is now available for purchase. Soon there will be 2 versions of this device - one that is fully integrated with Google, and one that has Google completely removed. Both will run Android 14 and both will have Dual Band, Part-90 2-way radios built in. This is going to be a fun project! Save 10...

On Friday, August 16 of this year, we met as a group at the Monte Sano State Park in Alabama before the Huntsville Hamfest. This is our 3rd year to do this type of meetup - myself and other YouTubers all gather and invite our audiences for a fun-filled day of POTA at the State Park. @AA0Z volunteered to cook lunch for everyone again this year, and asked for donations to cover food costs. All donat...

Join us tonight for the livestream to talk about a multitude of things - should I create another Facebook page for Ham Radio 2.0? As most of you know, my account was hacked earlier this year, then it was banned. After several hundred emails to Facebook, no reply was ever received. So I am thinking about creating a new Page for this channel. Also, if you haven't already, sign-up for my email list....

I made a couple of videos about products that Temu sent me and they want you to install their app to get a $100 coupon that they offered to me, to give to you. But in my videos I said I would install the app onto a tablet or device that isn't my main EDC device, and maybe doesn't have any personal data on it. Well, according to this article and group, that is a good idea. This video is sponsored b...

During our Yellowstone trip, we stopped off and activated Parks in several States, including Montana. The Buddistick Pro worked great for all of these activations because it sets up quickly, it doesn't require any stakes in the ground or wires in trees, and when it is packed up, it is very small and portable. This video is NOT sponsored - but you can find the Buddistock Pro at this link - https://...
