Eric opens the episode discussing a dilemma that he’s having with his pool and some rodents. As we conclude our series, we visit one of the more well-known text in John’s Gospel, where Jesus tells Thomas that he is the way, the truth, and the life. We pray today as you listen that your heart is not troubled by the fears of the world, but your faith is made strong in Jesus.

As we continue our series in the upper room from John’s Gospel, we pick up today in chapter 14. Jesus tells his followers not to be troubled because he goes and prepare a place for us and reminds the reader that the place that he prepares for us he will be present in. That is our great hope that for eternity Jesus will be with us.

Eric and Tyler introduce a new theme song, while they talk about Eric’s current obsession with making music through undisclosed ways. They also discuss the unchristlikeness of Taylor Swift’s new album. Eric goes through all of the degree he has earned through college. Finally they talk about the Lord Supper from a pastoral perspective.

As we continue examining, Jesus is teaching from the upper room, we come to this text where Jesus exhorts his followers to not let their hearts be troubled. Throughout all of the gospel of John we have seen the testimony that Jesus is the Son of God. That is the emphasis of why we should live without troubled hearts.

The guys open the podcast discussing the new University of Kentucky, basketball coach, and hopes for the program. Eric, let’s Tyler hear to unique voice messages that he got the last week. they discuss the unusual weather happening currently in Dubai and possible causes of it. They close out the podcast talking about the importance of striving to live a healthy life as a Christian.

They finish the episode discussing the doctrine of general revelation.

From the pulpit of Cedar point Baptist Church, we take an exert from a sermon examining what was happening in the upper room when Jesus exposed Judas as his betrayer. We are reminded in our sermon today of the assurance that we have in the gospel, to be sure, we are not like the disciples in the upper room, wondering, am I the betrayer?

In the opening of this episode Tyler & Eric wonder if they are famous and do not know it. The guys discuss Eric’s Lord Supper plunder. They also discuss the upcoming eclipse. Finally, they close breaking down the prosperity gospel and the folly that it produces.
