The absolute best service rifle the US military has ever fielded is the M16 family of weapons. This is a fact that really isn't debatable unless you're a contrarian, so today the boys are trying to figure out what rifle is the "best of the rest." Is the M14 the second best service rifle? Or perhaps the M1 Garand?

My favorite piece of gun related news recently was Rare Breed Triggers telling the ATF to come get some. Back story: the ATF issued a cease and desist to Rare Breed to force them to stop selling their FRT-15 trigger, and Rare Breed said "nah fam"

The State Department has banned imports of Russian made firearms and ammo. Does this mean that all steel cased ammo is going away? Is this the first step in a dastardly plan to take away all the garbage ammo the poors use? no.

Today we're answering a tough question: if you could only have three guns for the rest of your life, what would they be? Keith and Caleb both weigh in with their opinions, and surprise surprise they're pretty different. Tune in to find out which revolver Caleb picked, and what weird rifle Keith picks!

In interesting news, several former ATF agents have written a letter to the Senate opposing David Chipman's nomination on the grounds that he is grossly unqualified to hold the position. They're right!

You've heard Caleb and Keith talk about gun movies they love, well they're back to talking about pop culture and today it's gun movies that...well they were disappointing to say the least. Do the guys take a loose definition of what is or isn't a "gun movie?" Yes. Does that matter? Only if you're lame!

Yes, it looks like ammo is starting to make a resurgence. We appear to have hit the level of inventory where common calibers in popular loads readily available from most retailers again, albeit at elevated prices. Speaking of elevated prices: price gouging isn't real.
