I'll bet if you know Christ, this desire dwells within you as well. This is why we want others to know Jesus. We've tasted and seen that the Lord is good.

It isn't about entertainment, but spiritual formation.

This Sunday chat sort of happened. I left my notes behind almost immediately and went after a big picture view of the Father who wants a family.

In one sense, yep. But in many more practical senses, nope.

A three minute thought.

God has always been seeking after heart relationship with humanity...

Sometimes we make too much of personal spiritual experiences in a way that puffs us up and doesn't help others really know God better, but instead leaves them feeling disqualified. Jesus, on the other hand, transforms, beautifies, and grows us up into the image of love. Jesus should be the focus of our mountaintop experiences with God.

How do they relate? Can you be saved without being baptized? And how does baptism relate to old testament circumcision?

When we say "yes" to Jesus in truth, we pass from the kingdom of self into the kingdom of God.

Don't let anyone condemn you over shadows when you have the substance who is Christ. This little talk is from Col 2:16-17.
