Sometimes, the church can have beautiful things happening all around while we still are struggling personally. But we also know that when struggles press in on the church, we often see her most beautiful work in the world.

The early church involved real-life people. When people are involved, things inevitably get messy. What can we glean from some of the people in the early church and apply to our messy experiences with church today?

Stephen didn't waste his life and God didn't waste his death. A lot of us wonder if we would be willing to die for God but the better question for today is, are we living for Him?
