GDM Christopher finally returns and is as grumpy as ever. New D&D handbooks aren't coming anytime soon and he's none to happy about it. GDM Jay however is focused on the new Dungeon Crawl Classics coming out. This and more!

GDM Christopher is still missing so Mike fills in for him again. It's a week of weird news and speculation. Also ancient Lord of the Rings board games and Sci-fi RPG's.

GDM Christopher is still at Disney so GDM Jay is joined by his friend Mike and Bruce the Beer Bandit. They decided to take a look at the literal worst RPG games of all time and to hold a D&D spell draft for the worst spells.

A game of the year for 2024 candidate has already arisen for Grumpy Dungeon Master Jay. With GDM Christopher being on vacation GDM Jay is joined by his friend Mike to talk about some great games, Wiz Kids releases, Sorcery: Contested Realms, and some other topics.

The MCDM RPG is in Backerkit and the guys interest has been peaked. They talk about what they know with the system and the goods and bads of it. Obviously much will still change along the way. Also Hasbro layoffs at Christmas time and the Humblewood Bundle GDM Christopher got his hands on.

The guys take a look at some of the Crooked Moon stuff that was released for playtest along with GDM Christophers wife Shelley. While they don't go into to much details since it is just playtest materials they still seemed quite happy with what they have seen.

Planescape has finally been released for 5th edition so the guys have their friend Kristian back on the podcast to go through the books with them. What changed from 2nd edition, what's good, what's bad, and all the in between.

The guys are joined by Dungeon Lord Jay again and chat about the multiverse in D&D and whether other properties would be licensed by WotC to expand into new settings. Who doesn't want Drizzt Do'urden vs Iron Man or Elminster battling Doctor Strange? I can see the nerd fights already.

Planescape has hit the shelves and the guys are having fun talking about all the fun things inside. Especially the Ancient Time Dragon. GDM Christoper tells a story of him thinking Drow and Ettercaps like each other and GDM Jay has found a new initiative system he want's to try.

The guys are joined by David Schirduan, creator of Technicalgrimoire.com and co-creator of Overpowered, a single player game where you play through a module and earn points along the way. He's also the publisher of the recently released book Bridgetown, an incredible tabletop setting. Check it out!

GDM Christopher is up in arms about the state of Adventurer's League. He also likes handing out strange gifts to his players. Be careful what you wish for. GDM Jay talks about the battle between Netflix and Evil Genius Games and also talks some about running a game without combat.
