The podcast will explore the internal battle of not just Asian immigrants but every immigrant. Whether it’s staying true to thousands of years of culture or assimilating to what we see around us. Why Bananas? A banana was a slur for an Asian person who’d lost touch with their heritage - yellow on the outside and white on the inside. Growing up is hard enough as it is and we've found ourselves in the situation where we’re not Asian enough for the "true" Asians and unable to change the colour of our skin.https://linktr.ee/growingupbananas
