Moses simply didn’t want to go to Egypt to fulfill God’s will for his life. Moses came up with 4 different excuses to cover up this fact. Each time God countered with a solution. Moses asked God a legitimate question after God had told him that he would be the one to go to Pharaoh to demand the release of the Israelites. God’s people cried out for deliverance. He heard them; He knew their pain; and, He acted to deliver them. The Israelites were physically enslaved by the Egyptians, but we are enslaved by a much stronger and more evil master, sin.
