Quarterback Bobby Hebert connected with Anthony Carter on a 26-yard touchdown toss and then threw a yard to Mike Cobb to pace Michigan to a 34-24 victory over the Los Angeles Express. Novo Bojovic kicked four field goals as the Panthers, 4-4, rallied in the second half, while Los Angeles fell to 4-4.
