Isaac obeyed, and God blessed his obedience with a 100-fold increase in his sewing. Deserts are dry, barren places. If humans are to survive in the desert, they must have a water source. God provided for His people in the desert, giving them food and water. We can go through dry, barren places in our spiritual walk too. Just as He did for Israel, God will also provide for us in spiritual deserts.
