Once we are saved, we are to walk with the One who saved us.  By walking with Jesus, we become more like Him, by walking in His Word.

Solomon teaches on the subjects of pride, evil people, people who argue and the spanking of children.

This week, we examine Solomon's proverbs on a lifestyle of peace, the pride of men, saying kind words, gray hair, grandchildren, friends, keeping your mouth shut, security, your gift, finding a good wife, obedience, giving to the poor and alcohol. Making these proverbs a part of your life will improve your life.

Re-gifting is the act of wrapping a gift that we don't want and giving it someone else.  We may want the gift God has given to someone else.  When we reject the gifts that God has given to us, we may be guilty of being a re-gifter!  Are you a re-gifter?

There are some things that are NOT in the Bible.  The events surrounding the birth of Jesus have caused many to be creative.  Let's look at some of the unauthorized words and ideas that are not in the Bible.

Advent is the preparation for Christmas.  More importantly, Advent is the preparation for the coming of Christ. In the Old Testament, they prepped for the first appearance of Jesus.  In the New Testament, believers make ready for His second coming.  While we are waiting, let's praise Him for His sacrifice.

Jesus had a purpose for coming to earth and that was to redeem mankind back to God. Someone had to pay for the sins that man had committed and Jesus volunteered for the job. There are many who claim to be the Messiah, but Old Testament prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus as proof that He is the true Messiah.  Only Jesus fulfilled all that was written about Him hundreds of years before He was born.

This is the second part of the benefits of being a believer. I'm calling on all Prayer Warriors to lift me up in prayer. I've tested positive for COVID-19.  I have no fear of this virus. I want to know that when I am in need of prayer, my Prayer Warriors are there!

You don't have to die and go to heaven to receive the benefits of God. There are benefits that are to be enjoyed while we are on earth.

Our nation needs healing from the COVID-19 virus, the racial divide, the political turmoil and the economic uncertainty.  What can you and I do to promote healing?  Listen to today's podcast to hear what the Word of God says about healing a nation.

Choices are made everyday--some good, some not. There is a way to make Godly decisions for our lives. Let's explore some of the choices made in the Bible.

Let's take a look at the ministry of the Third Person of the Trinity.

Christian maturity is not the little old church ladies nor is it the older deacons sitting on the church pews for 50 years.  It is a path we are on that has indicators to show our progress.  Let's see how we are doing?

The Bible is filled with numbers and some have significance to them. Let's take a look at these numbers and note that there is a number for you.

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time is a situation most of us want to avoid. Sometimes, God uses it for His glory.  More often, it is a result of OUR disobedience. Let's look at five men in the Bible, who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The attributes of God is what He has revealed to us about His character, His nature and His being. Some of His attributes are reserved only for Himself.  It is His attribute of love that compels Him to share some of His other attributes with us.

God wants to take away your stony heart and replace it with a pure heart. Injustice continues because of Stony Heart Disease. True change will not happen until there is a change of heart.

This is the final installment in the series on the parables of Jesus. Christ teaches on love and money management to those who had hate in their hearts, as well as to those who did not want to share their wealth. Sound familiar?
