God, in order to show his mighty power, hardened Pharoh's heart, and he continually refused to let the Israelite people go. So God began to bring ten plagues against Egypt, the first being turning all the water in Egypt to blood.

Moses returned to Egypt to request that Pharoh let his people go. Pharoh, however, was in no mind to do so, and made the Israelites work even harder! Needless to say, the Israelites did not appreciate this, and were quite angry with Moses.

God had many bigger plans for Moses, and so he spoke to him directly from a bush that, while on fire, did not burn up.

Moses, after what he had done in Egypt had been discovered, fled to Midian. While it felt like he was no longer with the Israelites, God had bigger plans in mind for him!

Many years passed, and the tribe of Israel grew very large in number. The new Pharoh forgot what Joseph had done for him, and began to persecute the Israelites. Yet God preserved one child, Moses, who would eventually lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

After Joseph revealed himself to his brothers, he invited his father, Jacob, and all the rest of the family to live in Goshen in Egypt. Thus began a long period of time that the Israelites lived in Egypt.

When Joseph's brothers returned with the stolen cup in Benjamin's grain sack, they expected the worst. But Joseph finally revealed himself to them, and shed many tears over his family being reunited.

Joseph sent his brothers away a second time, but this time hid one of his personal items in their grain. And who was to blame, but the youngest brother, Benjamin! The brothers were terrified, but yet this too was all in God's plan.

When Joseph's brothers came to Egypt, he didn't reveal his identity to them to see if he could learn anything about his family and their actions against him. A second time, they came for more food, and Joseph continued to test them.

When Joseph became governor, a famine struck the whole land, just as God had told him through Pharoh's dreams. Who needed food but Joseph's own brothers!

After Joseph interpreted Pharoh's dreams, with God's help, Pharoh promoted Joseph to be the governor of all Egypt! All this was to fulfill God's plan for Joseph and the Israelites.

Pharoh had some strange dreams that nobody could interpret. Joseph was brought from prison to interpret them, and God again enabled him to interpret Pharoh's dreams.

While Joseph was in prison in Potiphar's house, God enabled him to interpret some dreams of his fellow prisoners. Those dreams came true, just as Joseph had predicted.

Joseph was sold into slavery in Potiphar's house in Egypt. While he quickly grew in favor and rank, Potiphar's wife came up with a nasty lie that got Joseph put into prison.

Joseph had some dreams where his brothers and his parents bowed down to him. But that just made Joseph's brothers hate him even more to the point where they wanted to kill him. But instead, they ended up selling him as a slave.

Jacob had many sons, but he especially loved Joseph. He gave him a beautiful coat, but this only made his brothers angry with Joseph.

Jacob was about to meet his brother, Esau, again. He knew Esau would be angry for taking his birthright, and Jacob feared for his life. But God had a better plan in mind.

God blessed Jacob in many ways. So much so that greedy uncle Laban kept trying to take what belonged to Jacob. Eventually, Jacob had to flee!

God provided a wife for Jacob. But Jacob, the tricker, was about to receive quite the surprise from his uncle Laban!

Joseph had two dreams that his parents and his brothers would all bow down to him someday. This made his siblings quite upset with him! But God had a bigger plan in mind.

Jacob, who had just bought his older brother's birthright for a bowl of stew, tricks Isaac, his father, into giving him the older brother's blessing, with the help of his mother, Rebekah.

Esau, who cared nothing about his first-born birthright, carelessly sells it to Jacob for a simple meal.

Abraham wanted to find a good wife for Isaac, so he send his trusted servant back to his homeland to find a wife for Isaac. God certainly blessed his journey!

After God gave Isaac to Abraham and Sarah, he tested Abraham's faith. Abraham, whose faith was occasionally weak, demonstrated amazing faith in God.

After Sarah found out she was pregnant with Isaac, she sent Ishmael and his mother, Hagar, away. God was still with them as he had promised.
