I picture David standing in the congregation with his hands raised saying, "Unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in Thee." Suddenly, his vulnerability and utter helplessness overwhelms him and he cries out, "Let me not be ashamed!" Without God's salvation, he will lose it all. And this is exactly the sort of faith God demands

When God's people needed a man to stand in the gap, Moses prayed, "If I have found grace in Thy sight, show me now Thy way, that I may know Thee, that I may find grace in Thy sight: and consider that this nation is Thy people." Thank you, GraceWay Family, for 10 years of standing in the gap together in our nations capital. What amazing grace we have found to walk in His way!

Statistics say most New Year's resolutions will be broken by this coming Friday - the 2nd weekend of the new year. How's that for encouragement?! Maybe it's because we forgot the most important element: TRUST in GOD, not in our own strength. What does it mean to trust? This is our focus for today's message, as well as for all of 2025: In GOD I Trust .

What a year of being "WITH GOD" and GraceWay! I stand amazed at His goodness to us in 2024. On this final Sunday, I want to take one more look at our theme in its context. Many times we want to claim its promise for some short-sighted, superficial goal. But Jesus had eternity in mind when He turned to His disciples and said, "With God all things are possible."

Merry Christmas! For some, that is difficult to say this year. My prayer is that the Lord Jesus reveals Himself to you in unfathomable comfort and peace. May the very fact that He came prove His love to you today. Jesus Christ is much more than a tiny baby in a manger. He is the revealer of God, the creator of the world, and the redeemer of man. This is the true reason for the season.
