I thank Jesus for choosing to save me. “ ‘Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done’ ” (Luke 22:42, NIV).

The Sabbath is a day to learn more about God’s love. “ ‘For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath’ ” (Matthew 12:8, NIV).

God’s grace calms my fears. “ ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. . . . Do not be afraid’ ” (John 14:27, NIV).

“Jesus looks for me because I am precious to Him. “ ‘For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost’ ” (Luke 19:10, NIV).

Jesus comes looking for me when I am far from Him. “ ‘Your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost’ ”(Matthew 18:14, NIV).

I will tell others what Jesus has done for me. “ ‘One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!’ ” (John 9:25, NIV).

“I serve Jesus when I bring others to Him. “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love” (Romans 12:10, NIV).

Jesus wants me to put others first. “ ‘Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant’ ” (Mark 10:43, NIV).

Jesus helps me treat others as I want to be treated. “ ‘So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you’ ” (Matthew 7:12, NIV).

I worship God when I joyfully tell others about Jesus. “When they had seen him, they spread the word” (Luke 2:17, NIV).

I worship God when I listen to the good news about Jesus.“ ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men’ ”(Luke 2:14, NIV).

I worship God when I tell others about my love for Him. “ ‘My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior’ ”(Luke 1:46, 47, NIV).

I worship God when I tell others about His goodness and love. “ ‘Praise be to the Lord . . . because he has come and has redeemed his people’ ” (Luke 1:68, NIV).

I know God keeps His promises, because Bible prophecies come true. “ ‘You know . . . that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled’ ”(Joshua 23:14, NIV).

God gives me the grace and power to do His will. “ ‘The gracious hand of my God was upon me’ ”(Nehemiah 2:8, NIV)

God holds me in His hands and molds me. “O Lord, . . . we are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand” (Isaiah 64:8, NIV).

God keeps His promises. “ ‘The Lord will do what he has promised’ ”(Isaiah 38:7, NIV).

Because of God’s grace, my sins are forgiven when I ask Him. “ ‘Your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for’ ” (Isaiah 6:7, NIV).

When we help people who serve God, we serve God too. “God . . . will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them” (Hebrews 6:10, NIV).

I can serve Jesus at home. “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men”(Ephesians 6:7, NIV).

“I serve God when I willingly help others. “ ‘As the Father has sent me, I am sending you’ ” (John 20:21, NIV).

I serve God when I am kind to those invited to my home. “Share with God’s people who are inneed. Practice hospitality” (Romans 12:13, NIV).

I want to be with Jesus when He comes back for me. “ ‘This same Jesus . . .will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven’ ” (Acts 1:11, NIV).

When Jesus comes again, we will live with Him and worship Him forever. “The Lord will save me, and we will sing with stringed instruments all the days of our lives in the temple of the Lord” (Isaiah 38:20).

I worship God when I study my Bible every day. “[The Bereans] received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true” (Acts 17:11).
