Gill looks at how we are living at these present times. We are in a time of change and transition, we are living in the corridor between total lockdown and the lifting of lockdown. This is a liminal space.

Mark continues the series on the Book of Acts, looking at Acts 7. In order to understand chapter 7, we need to look back into chapter 6 to see why Stephen is brought before the Sanhedrin. Mark looks at Stephen's response and what it means for us today.

It gives the Holy Spirit space to brood over our souls and bring us into unique communion with God. Gill looks at the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts and sees how the Spirit moved in the lives of the disciples and those first believers in the early church.

Gill looks at what it means to be compassionate. If we are disciples of Jesus then we need to behave like Jesus. Jesus was compassionate.

Mark and Gill speak briefly about George Floyd, Black Lives Matter and racism before calling for prayer. Ray then continues the series on Acts looking at Chapter 5 where Ananias and Sapphira lie to the apostles and are struck dead. He also looks at the apostles being imprisoned awaiting a hearing by the Sanhedrin and their miraculous escape.

Gill leads us in her latest meditation focusing on how we can encounter Jesus as we read the Gospels. Not just reading them once, but taking time to go over a passage of scripture slowly, repeatedly and letting yourself soak in the words.

Today we celebrate Pentecost, the birth of the church, when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the disciples in the upper room. The disciples poured out onto the streets and took the Word of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit to the people who needed to hear it.
