Main point: Two keys to battle apathy and giving up on faith are from two people, the Son and the Father. 1. Jesus the Son (v. 1-3) 2. God the Father (v. 4-11)

Main point: Faithful Endurance is fulfilled in Christ! 1. Endure: The Promises of God cannot begin to be fulfilled without faith. (v. 1-16) 2. Endure: The Promises of God are not invalidated by suffering. (v. 17-38) 3. Endure: The Promises of God are fully fulfilled in Christ! (v. 39-40)

Main point: You better believe it’s worth it to keep going. 1. Confident Entrance (v. 19-25) 2. Certain Vengeance (v. 26-31) 3. Constant Reliance (v. 32-39)

Main point: Jesus’ single sacrifice takes away our sin and gives us hearts of obedience. 1. Our many sacrifices couldn’t save us (v. 1-4) A. We can’t remove our own sins B. We can only remember our sins 2. Jesus’ one sacrifice will (v. 5-18) A. He removes our sins (and gives us new hearts and minds) (v. 5-16) B. He will not remember our sins (v. 17-18)

Main point: Jesus is the best thing for your conscience. 1. Eternal Redemption (v. 1-14) 2. Eternal Inheritance (v. 15-28)

Main point: The shocking secret to Jesus' ministry success is his people. 1. The high priest we have (v. 1-2) 2. The ministry they copy (v. 3-6) 3. The people he has (v. 7-13)

Main point: If you believe in Jesus’ never-ending priesthood, your sins are forgiven forever! 1. We need an never-ending priesthood (v. 1-10) 2. We have an never-ending priest (v. 11-19) 3. We can trust that forgiveness never ends (v. 20-28)

Main Point: The two-fold nature of Jesus anchors our confidence in Salvation. 1. God’s Promise and Oath are absolute. (v. 11-15) 2. So Anchor your confidence in Christ! (v. 16-20)

Main point: Saving faith is a patient but maturing faith. 1. Some are immature (5:11-14) 2. Let’s all become mature (6:1-3) 3. Immaturity leads to destruction (6:4-8) 4. Maturity leads to salvation (6:9-12)

Main point: The king who speaks to you for God also speaks to God for you. 1. The king speaks to you for God (4:14) 2. The priest speaks to God for you (5:1-8) a. Know what a high priest is for (v. 1-4) b. Recognize your new high priest (v. 5-8) 3. Draw near with confidence (4:15-16, 5:9-10)

Main point: Jesus makes closeness to God possible, and that’s worth fighting to believe. 1. Problem: Hearing God ≠ Closeness to God (v. 1-3a) 2. Rest Belongs to God (v. 3b-5) 3. Some Have Entered Rest (v. 6-7) 4. Rest Is Still Available (v. 8-10) 5. Let’s Fight For Rest (v. 11-13)

Main point: Salvation comes through persistent belief in Jesus! 1. As Moses was faithful, Jesus is perfectly faithful (v. 1-6) 2. So, he warns them to take care to not harden their heart, like Israel did (v. 7-15) 3. Because the result of unbelief is sin and the wrath of God (v. 16-19)
