Pastor Zach picks up where we left off last week in the Life of David. David is on the run from King Saul, and we see David's character come out when he is faced with the choice to kill King Saul. He ultimately chooses to respect and show mercy to King Saul, because God has placed him in authority over David at this moment in time. He chooses to wait for God's timing.

Pastor Zach continues going through the Life of David this week. Following his success and fame after killing Goliath, David experiences the lowest moments of his life. His response to these terrible things are an example to us for how we should respond to bad things in our lives.

This week, we tackle the belief of a "Body Guard God" - If God can prevent bad things from happening, why doesn't he protect us from all the bad things? We ultimately see that both bad things can happen and God can love us at the same time.
