Casey Olsen continues our sermon series The Helper , which has been considering the person and role of the Holy Spirit. In this sermon, we consider Galatians 5 and Paul's helpful unpacking of how the Spirit helps us consider Christian freedom and obedience to Christ. 

As we continue our sermon series The Helper , Pastor Chris dives into 1 Corinthians 14 and considers Paul's instruction to eagerly desire the gift of prophecy. 

Speaking in tongues is a topic that many in and out of church settings find confusing and quite frankly, a little strange. Paul's teaching in 1 Corinthians 14 helps us understand practically how this gift of the Spirit ought to be used in the church and tells us that we should eagerly desire this gift from God. 

Pastor Chris continues our sermon series The Helper by considering the Holy Spirit's role in filling a believer to empower them for Christian living. We started this conversation by taking a broad look at what the biblical narrative tells us about the Spirit, then we considered Christ's prioritization of the Holy Spirit, and now we are looking at the personal implications it has for you. 

Pastor Chris continues our sermon series The Helper by looking at the New Testament's pattern of the the Holy Spirit playing a role in the everyday life of a believer. First exemplified by Jesus and then continued on by the early church, the Holy Spirit is meant to play a vibrant and personal role in the Christian's life.
