Over the last few weeks we’ve been following the story of the church in Ephesus. The Gospel transforms the city so much the Temple of Artemus struggles to make money on idols. After three years of planting and pastoring the church, Paul is compelled by the Spirit to go to Jerusalem. So, in a final act, he calls the elders together and gives a farewell address.

This Sunday we learn about what modern day idols are. They aren’t little statues made of wood or stone. They are much more subtle in our post modern society.
