Is there something bigger going on here? And if so, do I have a part in it? They are two of the most important questions a person can ever ask and answer. We believe the answer is an emphatic, "Yes," and this message will explain why.

As we continue to seek our understanding of calling and vocation, one of the crucial points to appreciate is our context. Where is our mission to be focused? It's more than just one or two places. Where are your wheres'?

How do we bridge the great divide between Sunday and Monday; between church life and work life?

Comparing ourselves to others keeps us from discovering and enjoying God's call on our lives. Following the call means knowing who you are, and who your not.

What has God called you to do? The best way to discover your place in God's world is to strive to be faithful to what God has called you to today.

Why are you here - on planet Earth? In greater Boston? If there's no answer to that question, we're just marking time. There is an answer to that question, and it will take everything you do to a new level of meaning and impact.

We discover peace in the moments of our lives when we are attentive to what God is doing. Luke 2:21-39

What prompted the magi to make their long journey to Bethlehem, and what might we learn from them about science, faith, and the search for peace?

If we can be certain of anything, it's that life is uncertain! What do you do when life catches you by surprise? Do we just "let it be?" Go with the flow and hope it all works out? Or is there a better, stronger way to find peace in the unexpected moments of life?

We find peace in the tumult when we invite the Prince of Peace to rule our hearts, our homes, and our world.

This fall we’ve been considering The Divine Invitation – the invitation to join hands with God as He goes about His saving, healing, restoring work in this world. We’ve been tagging along with Jesus as he trains the Twelve for their mission – carrying on his work after he’s gone, which turns out to be our mission, as well.

We are invited…to set aside our comfort, our preferences, and even our security, for a greater good and a greater joy.

The message of Psalm 121 is simple but profound. And it is a message that we see throughout the Bible. Our safety and security is in God and in God alone. But to remember that and to put it into practice calls for spiritual exercise.
