Every Born-again believer is anointed with the third member of the Godhead which is the Holy Spirit. the Holy Spirit came to Jesus when he was baptized, and it is the same holy spirit that we receive when we are spiritually baptized in union with Christ. It is for every believer to become in tuned with the Holy Spirit.

Every believer is in a battle. that battle is for the heart. It is Satan that seeks to keep charge of the heart and he does by deception distraction sowing seeds of doubt and false doctrine. the believer's only line of defense is Bible doctrine.

What is Eternal life? Should we expect to live forever sitting on a cloud playing a Harp. Or is there something more? If eternal life is from God, what should our expectations be?

John takes us back to what we have first confessed to not let go of it.

All faith starts with an authority. there must be an object to our faith. Ours is the bible. It will be challenged.
