Is confession and forgiveness a get out of jail free card? does it mean that I can commit sin and get away with it each and every time simply by telling God I'm sorry?

While we all sin and come short of the Righteousness of God, there is no excuse for it, and God does not expect the believer to continue to walk in darkness. How then shall we recover when we sin against God?

Morality can be a big stumbling block to spiritual growth. the Believers' moral standing may lead him to think that all is right between him and God. The moral person starts with himself in how good he is overlooking his own flaws. Having the right view of God and the light of God's word tells the truth of who we are and where we are in reference to the light.

As born again believers in Christ we are Children of light. But unfortunately many choose to reside in the darkness where they practice sin. walking in darkness is intimacy with sin. you become what you chose to hang around. More time you spend in the darkness more you become associated with that which is in the darkness. we must recognize who we are in Christ and conform to the light.

Yes we are saved by grace through faith. The moment that we are born again we have left the darkness and moved into the light. we are saved from hell and can look forward to a life in Christ in Heaven. but why do so many Christian's want to live in darkness which they came out of?

There are two positions in Christ. There is the permanent position. at the point that you become a child of God you are forever his. IN this life however the believer is either walking in the light or he is walking in darkness.
