We find admonition from this passage of scripture to seek the Lord in spirit and in truth because it is going to take walking in the spirit to do the things we are charged to do, because walking in the flesh we will fail Him.

Here we learn that God is not a respector of persons; as many men are. This is the attitude that is destroying humanity. Rebellion and disobedience is the result of having respect of persons. All souls belong to God. But the soul that sinneth it shall die.

Here we understand that through Christ we have the faith and power to be who God wants us to be. What we can’t do ourselves the in-dwelling of the Christ of God provides us with that ability.

Here we find the instructions of God for His chosen. He is admonishing His people to unite against Satan by believing and trusting Him by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We learned here that we cannot please God living by the rudiments of the world. But if we live by the word of God then the Lord will not forsake us. We cannot please God walking in the flesh; the regenerated walk in the spirit.

God has, is, and will take care of His own. All He wants us to do is to not allow our faith to fail us. He is always everywhere all the time knowing everything about each one of us.

We learn here that every not so good thing that happens to some is not because of something they did. Apparently, sometimes God has done and will do things to demonstrate His power, love, authority, and compassion to all of humanity.

In this passage of scripture for today we see how the Lord Jesus Christ instructed his disciples to make preparation for things to come. We should use the same wisdom as we move forward every day; preparing for things to come, that is our being caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

Here we should learn that if we indeed believe and trust God, whatever is righteous that we believe Him for He will manifest it into our lives.

Here we are provided with the wisdom that helps everyone that accepts it to know what to do to get ready for the coming of the Lord. Practice the guidance of the Word of God because He who is and who is not practicing the wisdom of the gospel.

In these verses of scripture we discover again, the agape’ love of God. He has told and is telling believers why they in part suffer loss and then provides the wisdom for restoration.

Here we experience afresh the love of God. He brings retribution upon His people because of rebellion, disobedience, and disrespect for Him. Then at His discretion He will deliver those He choses.

We are reminded that God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. He is always everywhere all the time knowing everything with the ability to correct whatever goes wrong but only when humanity, but especially the household of faith repent of all errors and violations contrary to God’s desire.

We should learn from this passage of scripture that God keeps His promises. We should understand that the scripture teaches that God is great and terrible. He is terrible to the wicked but He is great to the righteous.

This passage of scripture reminds humanity of the fact of the word of God that He is very concerned about how we treat each other and more particularly how we treat Him.

Here we find another example of the agape’ love of God. God is just and righteous. He will avenge His chosen; but He will also exact His indignation upon them.

This is another reminder that God is not going to tolerate people to continue to manipulate and take advantage of other people

When sincere repentance is done God just might change His mind about the retribution that He has sent upon us.

In this particular passage of scripture we are reminded again by God, because all scripture is written by the inspiration of God, that He will not continue to tolerate and forgive constant rebellion and disobedience and disrespectful Him In part I believe this is why in 2020 and 2021 this pandemic is up on the world.

This passage of scripture provides the wisdom humanity, but especially the household of faith should embrace to know that when we follow the instructions of scripture God can and will avert destruction and disaster He sends in retribution.

This scripture as it is intended reminds us of who God is and that His long suffering is our salvation. Before destruction there comes a warning from God.

We learn here what integrity means and how faith in God should be demonstrated. Let’s go forward practicing the wisdom and courage demonstrated by Job.

This scripture helps us to understand that selfishness, an attitude that we as people of God should not have when it comes to promoting ourselves and not being wise enough to think cause and effect for the whole of all involved in the decisions we make.

This is to remind us of the unending love of our God. We can see Him helping us even when we know that He is punishing us. Only our God can do that.

When we seek God for direction to move forward in Him He will guide us to perform the tasks set before us, that will give Him glory. Selfishness is an evil that we can live without. Be concerned about our fellowman and God will bless.
