God’s Pep Talk

Years ago I learned a song in Sunday school class called, “Be careful little eyes what you see!” Joshua was concerned about God’s reputation. The question is: What are you concerned about?

We invite you to listen to amazing people who turned their eyes upon Jesus in really hard times.

Joshua and the Israelites are camping out on the edge of the city of Jericho. Joshua is getting his orders from God who is the Commander- in -Chief. It’s time to take the walls down. But…how will this happen? Only God can do this!!

Everyone on earth is looking for that perfect love. The real truth of this is we as human beings do not love with a perfect love.

It’s time for the breakthrough into the Promised Land. God has kept His promises to Rahab and the Israelites. What promises are you waiting on?

Rahab cut a deal with the spies since she saved them from the King and his men. Now she was asking for the men to save her and her family and loved ones. Will they agree?

Are you ready to take a leap of faith with God and obey Him even though you don’t understand? Joshua and his leaders were ready and were greatly encouraged by God.

Now it’s time for Moses to hand the baton of leadership over to Joshua.

As I look into a rear view mirror, my eyes are on who is behind me. I can also see who is coming up beside me. However, there are blind spots I may not see.

A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. (Proverbs 15:13)

It’s time for God’s judgment upon the evil in this land. God is drawing a plumb line in His Nation, cities, counties, government, churches and families.

Giving thanks and praising our Awesome Father is a weapon of warfare against the enemy.

The Israelites have been wandering around in the wilderness for 40 years. So.. let’s fast forward through the wilderness to the end of an era to the beginning of a new one.

Are you dealing with a serious illness? I’d like to encourage you to listen to some of my husband’s testimony. Fred had a heart attack on November 7, 2020 and almost died 4 times while being in the hospital six weeks. The doctor calls him a Christmas miracle!

God wanted to begin a reconstruction in the Israelites heart and mind from all the hard labor they had endured in Egypt. However, no matter how many signs, wonders and miracles God showed them, they still didn’t trust His promises for them.

Life can be very difficult in a wilderness of fear! How do you react or response in the midst of a hard challenge?

The Israelites knew about God. They saw Him in a cloud, they saw His signs,, wonders and miracles and experienced His provision and protection. But..they didn’t have an intimate personal relationship with Him. Therefore, they didn’t know His love. Do you know Him?

Can you hear the frustration of Moses with the Israelites. They continue to grumble and complain instead of having a grateful heart.

This is a New Beginning for the Israelites! The past is over. No more slavery! Surely they will have so much faith in their God after seeing signs, wonders and miracles! Or would they?

Moses told the people in Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and rest. So…What does it mean for us to be at peace and rest?

How would God take Moses mixed up life and use it for His glory? Amazing story!

God had delivered His people. Now it’s time to move forward with faith and trust in Him. Would they answer the door to the spirit of fear?

So…Now it’s time for a New Season! The Israelites are no longer slaves to Pharaoh. It’s time for the Wilderness season.

Imagine being under hard slavery for many years and now suddenly you are set free by the great I Am!
