God’s Pep Talk

When Jesus was suffering on the cross, He was looking at the joy that was set before Him. That joy was the other thief who recognized Jesus was truly the Son of God. Did you know you are the joy set before Jesus too? He died so you could live forever with Him in heaven. What an Awesome Savior.

Satan challenged Jesus identity when he said, “If you are the Son of God. “ Jesus knew who He was. The question is: Do you know your true identity?

Over the course of our walk with the Lord, our faith in the Lord will continue to grow in higher levels as we continue to draw closer to Him in our personal relationship with Him and increase our knowledge levels about our Awesome Father as we study His Word.

Barnabas was an example of being full of faith and full of the Holy Spirit. As a result, many people came to the Lord. The question is: Are you full of faith and full of the Holy Spirit?

The greatest gift is God’s gift of Love. One day Holy Spirit spoke in my heart that He gives good gifts in the midst of the bad. Many times we look at trials as bad when God sees something good that can come from it. What Satan meant for evil God will turn for our good and His glory.

There are 3 kinds of spirits…demonic spirits, God’s angels who are ministering spirits and our human spirit. Which one are you listening to?

The gift of wisdom is the capacity to make godly choices and encourage others to do likewise. Those gifted in wisdom know the right time and place for different types of behavior. They understand how life works and make decisions that are in harmony with God’s will.

God has absolute perfect knowledge on all things. We have knowledge levels that are completely imperfect and limited. So..we need to receive words of knowledge from the Lord on a regular and frequent basis in order to be able to safely journey through this life.

We don’t fast to change God’s mind. We fast to get closer to our Father’s heart.

Many people do not know the benefits the Holy Spirit has given us with the prayer language through us by the Holy Spirit. I’d like to encourage you to open your heart and mind and listen to this message.

If God came to you in a dream and asked you what He could give you, what would you say?

When you thank God for what you have and don’t focus on what you don’t have, it trains your mind to find something good in every situation no matter what is going on.

John Calvin wrote,”The Angels are dispensers and administrators of the divine beneficence toward us , they regard our safety, undertake our defense, direct our ways, and exercise a constant solitude that no evil befalls us.

God is calling His church to unite. But how do we unite when we don’t have the same opinions?

Worship means having a bowed down head and heart as we adore and revere our Heavenly Father. It is an attitude of totally and unconditionally surrendering to the One who we call Master, Lord and King and so much more.

Is God your first passion?

Job had a wonder of God in the midst of the dark valley and did not wander from God.

Worship is more than a song and shouting or a style of service. Worship is all about what you give to Him. It is precious and so powerful to our God.

We have to choose to lay down our frustrations and stress in order to be at rest.

How do you have peace of mind in a chaotic world?

How do you keep from getting steamed up?

Your heart is the seat of emotions. Are you allowing God to search your heart?

When you get hit hard, it becomes more difficult to guard your heart.
