In this chapter, we read about the Tower of Babylon and the dispersion of the peoples. We also read about the lineage and birth of Avram.

In chapter 10, we learn about the dispersion of the various groups of people on the face of the earth after the flood. We also learn about Nimrod, who became deified and is involved with the origin of what people now celebrate as Christmas.

In this episode, we learn about God’s eternal covenant with us of the rainbow and His promise to never again flood the earth and destroy all flesh with a flood. We also learn about the importance of humility and covering the nakedness, or “sin”, of our fellow body of believers.

In this episode we read Genesis chapter 6. We look at God’s loving nature, but we also look at why He must punish and judge our unrighteousness. We look at the fact that God never changes, and we begin to learn about the flood coming on the earth in the subsequent chapters.

In this chapter, we learn some of the lineage from the time of Adam until the time of Noah.

In Genesis chapter 3 we read about the fall of man. We discuss how Satan deceived Eve who in turn deceived her husband. We read about the curses that were put in place due to this rebellious act. We also discuss the redemption plan of God and how God overturns this curse in Revelations 22.

Join us as we begin our Bible study in the very beginning – in Genesis chapter 1. We delve into the Scriptures using the Hebrew to better understand some of the words, situations and concepts being explained in the English.

In chapter 2 of Genesis, we see that God blessed the seventh day. We also explore the oneness and uniqueness of the relationship between a husband and wife as established by God and how that applies to us as believers and to our God himself.
