We continue in Daniel Chapter 8, exploring a new persecution.

Daniel 8:5-10 Being persecuted today as a Christian...what does that look like to you? What does it mean to be persecuted. Let's uncover some of that through Daniel's dream in Chapter 8.

God has placed you in this exact time and place for a purpose. It is not by accident. The next part of the Book of Daniel will begin to uncover this truth.

Daniel 7:25 - 8:1-2 "Inside each of us, is everyone building a tower [Babel] into the heavens, declaring themselves the ruler in their kingdom." -Martin Luther 

Where can you find the Tower of Babel today? Does it still exist? I believe the relationship between Babel and Babylon can be connected deeply, and we can find remnants of the "Tower" still today.

Let me share 3 observations of a authentic burden for the lost. And what do you do with this information?

Daniel 7:28 What is burdening you? This tends to trigger negative feelings & emotions. But what burdens you as a follower of Christ?

Daniel 7:9-14 The prophet Daniel is given two dreams to shine light on what's to come. In fact, he is shown that hard times are coming. Through this, we can see the ownership of God, and how we as Christians should take ownership.

Daniel 7:8 What thoughts come to mind when you hear the word "Antichrist"? Is it a monster, or a government? Perhaps he is just a person. Let's learn what the Bible says about this.

Daniel 7:2-7 Is God working in your life, or asking something of you that makes you tense? Why is there tension in our lives, between you and God? Let's seek to understand and discern what God shows us through His Word.

I continue with this question, "When were you saved?" We'll look at 4 types of explanations and how scripture addresses them.

Daniel 7:1-3 Can we know when we were saved? And what does it actually mean to be saved? I'll dive into scripture as we search the Books of Daniel, Romans, & Revelation. 

Daniel 7:1   The year was 1974, and every horrible thing that could happen was happening. Was it the end of the world? What does the Book of Daniel say about the end times?

Daniel 7:1   Peace isn't found in the absence of struggle, but in the presence of God. So, what does the Bible say about peace? We dig into Daniel's dream from the beginning of Chapter 7.

Daniel 6: 26-27 The Greek word "ashamed" means to stand out or be different. Personally, how do we stand out to truly be a reflection of Jesus Christ?

Daniel 6: 16-20 Many of us have gone through seasons of feeling stuck. Whether emotionally, physically, or even psychologically. Is there a different way we can see these moments?

Daniel 6:4-5 The second part of Civil Disobedience. We'll look at how the prophet Daniel deals with this issue. 3 parts to remember: It's intentional and peaceful, it's a public act, and Daniel is ready to accept the consequences of his actions.

Daniel 6:4-5 What does our dual citizenship look like as Christians? What is the balance between a citizen of the State and a citizen of the kingdom of God?

Daniel 6:4 Diving more into the forces of this world, natural & spiritual.

Daniel 6:1-2 Let's discuss more of our character & what lies underneath it. The presence of the Spirit within a person and how it impacts others.

Daniel 6 Let's dive more into this phrase, "God works all things for my good." What exactly does that mean and is it really accurate? Let's see how the book of Daniel informs this "lens" we use with this phrase.

Daniel 5:13-24   There are different kinds of justice you'll hear in today's culture: social, racial, climate, healthcare, gender... the list goes on. How does God's justice speak into our justice, and how we see it?

Daniel 5: 5-6   Where does this phrase come from & what does it mean to you? Let's explore the spiritual connotations of this saying & its personal application.
