So many cliches about the power of love, but what is the real potential of genuine love? Can it really change the world, or is that just a t-shirt? We continue our exploration of these questions in this study. 1 Cor 13:1-7

Yes, weddings. But could it be that instead of this passage being about weddings, weddings are to be about this passage? Obscure distinction? Perhaps. Let’s jump in and sort it out. 1 Cor 13:1-7

So many variables, so many things changing, and so much uncertainty about the future. And yet, we have a stable source of encouragement available to us. We’ll be reminded of its power in this study. 2 Timothy 3:10-17

If you’ve grown up in a church that offered communion on a regular basis, it’s possible that form of communion is what you considered to be the “correct way” to do the Lord's Table. But do we risk form obscuring function? We’ll look at communion in this study. 1 Cor 11:17-34

Submission. And just like that, defense mechanisms are activated. The passage in focus has been a point of contention in the church for centuries. But should it be? What role does context play in our understanding of the passage? We’ll explore these questions in our study. 1 Cor 11:2-16

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Upon zooming out on history, we find so many instances of the problems facing the church 2000 years ago to be present at this moment. We’ll look at some of these in this study. 2 Timothy 3:1-9

We’ve been studying the exhortations from Paul to follow his examples of putting aside our personal rights and preferences. If we look at society today, do we see evidence of this? If we look at our neighborhood, dorm floor, or office, do we see evidence of this? We’ll look at relationships in this study. 1 Cor 11:2-16

Freedom is great, but what happens if our freedom gets out of hand? Where is the line beyond which freedom needs to be set aside? We’ll explore this question today. 1 Cor 10:14 - 11:1

“I’m one of the most humble people you’ll ever meet,” said no one ever, authentically. Our study looks at what it means to “live” our faith and how following the example of Jesus is radically different than just saying you follow Jesus. 1 Cor 10:14 - 11:1

God is faithful. We often say this. But where would this statement land when we’re facing temptation? Are the two things even related? We’ll explore this connection in our study today. 1 Cor 10:1-13

Is there a switch in perception that takes place when thinking about a loving God? So much good offered up, but then suddenly, we’re facing a temptation for something that also feels like a “good” but that we’re told to flee from. We’ll explore this conundrum in our study today. 1 Cor 10:1-13

Have you ever wondered if a diagram would make life easier, a road map that laid out decisions for you? Our study today looks at instructions that Paul provided both to Timothy and to us. 2 Timothy 2:20-26

Freedom is a word that can conjure up a wide range of ideas. What is the intersection of freedom and religion? For many, those two ideas are polar opposites. Our study will dive into a discussion of this intersection. 1 Cor 9:19-27

Studying the entire Bible is a good way to avoid “cherry picking” an answer that works for you. Context is important. As Paul answers questions offered up by the church in Corinth, context is essential, and we’ll look at the details in this study. 1 Cor 9:19-27

On a logical basis, one could affirm the idea that “the more I’ve accomplished, the more rights I have.” Then there’s the gospel approach. Paul had accomplished much, but talks about the more important task of living out the gospel and will challenge us to do the same. 1 Cor 9:1-18

Congratulations on getting that degree! Time to frame it and put it up on the wall, and rightly so. Our study today presents a warning to those who go beyond framing and use knowledge as a way to define themselves, or even as an idol. 1 Cor 8:1-13
