Go With Your Gut
This is about mindset. It’s about learning to shift that mindset and not shying away from those things your gut Told Ty tells you to do even though your head yells at you to stop. We are faced with decisions regularly that force us to go with our gut. That means regardless of internal or external opposition, we move forward. It means we listen to our intuition, and trust ourselves to figure out whatever will come our way.

Perfection in Imperfection with James Love 17.05.2023 34:12
Life is messy. We try to force what we want sometimes and we can feel that something is off. There are many different way in which to correct that energy because we don't usually have extra to spare. James and I discuss how he figured out he needed to follow that windy path and its led him to a place of peace. That didn't mean that everyone approved of what we was doing, or even understood what he...
Ignite and Take Flight with Dr. Lotus Riche 10.05.2023 35:36
What would Lotus have missed out on if she hadn't followed her gut? It turns out, a lot. Learning to follow that gut instinct is hard, espeically in the beginning. You have to get past the fear by facing it head on, you have to get past the people who may not support you how you'd like. You have to tune out all the noise that is telling you ...you can't, won't, shouldn't, you'll never make it. Fea...
External Validation 03.05.2023 14:21
Do you seek external validation? It could be at work, at home, or anywhere else. Some people are great at giving praise and showing appreciation. Other are not so much. If you are expecting it from those who don't do that, could you be setting yourself up for failure, or anger? If praise and validation don't come natural to some people, but we expect it, maybe its time to let those people off the...
Enforcing Boundaries 26.04.2023 18:40
Boundaries are great, but they have to be enforced to work. Lots of people struggle with this because we want to make people happy. That means dropping what we're doing to help, or saying yes when we should say no. Do you find yourself saying, "i'm not sure what i did this week, but i was super busy?" If thats you, you may need some work. Today's hustle culture leaves no room for extra time. That...
With New Breaks, Come New Burdens 20.04.2023 11:10
Life is full of contradictions. Have you noticed that? When you get something good, a big break, if often comes with a burden. The difference is what we choose to focus on. If we get a new job, there's going to be a learning curve and likely more responsibilities. Those might stress us out. We can either focus on the good parts of the new job and accept the burden that comes with it and be happy,...
Getting Through The No’s 12.04.2023 11:43
Do you get frustrated with hearing "no". Maybe you don't even hear that word but you get frustrated trying to do something and it just won't happen. We can be told no in a lot of different ways. After a while, that starts to ware down on us. At some point we start to wonder if we just need to cut bait. Take to your gut when that happens, and listen to your instinct. Maybe you need to try something...
Letting Go of Control 30.03.2023 18:52
What can we control? Very little honestly. Ourselves: our actions, reactions, mindset, how we treat others. Other than that, we have very little control. But lots of times, we sure as heck try to control much more. In fact, we try to force things. Have you ever had so many spinning plates and all of the sudden you were forced to either leave with the inability to be connected, or you got sick, or...
Creating a Vision 09.03.2023 20:00
Whats your vision? For life, for family, for where you want to be. I've heard a lot of people get frustrated because others don't understand or buy into the dream. They don't have to, its not their dream or vision to understand. We also try to force our dreams and visions onto others. Not everyone will "get" the vision, and thats ok. Develop the vision, feel the vision, come up with the tiny steps...
Understood or misunderstood 07.03.2023 13:49
Does anyone misunderstand you? Do you understand yourself? Two questions i've had to answer myself but i couldn't for a long time. I found that I couldn't expect anyone else to get me when i didn't totally get me. I wanted to be like so wether I was given a box or got it for myself, i tried to fit in it? Can you relate? I've found I don't fit into a box, there is a mold specific to me that i fit i...
Old Habits Die Hard 23.02.2023 16:23
What habits die hard? Overeating? eating junk? Maybe getting frustrated? When we think of bad habits usually its because we're going through a stressful season of life, some type of change, something to make our bodies and brains go into instinctual mode of fight or flight. We go into survival mode. Some habits you might now think about is having anxious thoughts, maybe projecting old, current, or...
How Do You Lead 08.02.2023 21:29
Leadership doesn't have to be confined to a job or a title. You can lead wherever you want, and likely you already are, just don't know it. There are qualities that most people like to see from leaders but there is no one size fits all to what it could look like for you. You can be a leader at work, regardless of the title, an outside organization, or even for your family. Listen in or watch to ta...
Where is the Focus? 01.02.2023 16:09
What you focus on, you find. Doesn't matter if its good or bad. I hear so many statistics about how people don't measure up to the analytics. They don't meet what the numbers say they should do. Do we ever stop to think if they are the numbers we should be focusing on? Or do we automatically take it to heart and start to feel like we're not doing good enough. Negative outcomes and setbacks are a p...
Enforcing Boundaries Under Stress w/ Elizabeth Andreyevskiy 18.01.2023 36:32
Boundaries are tricky. Especially when it come to enforcing them with the people who depend on you most. We can make the choice to not respect our limits and not enforce our boundaries, but then where does it get us? Usually to a place we don't want to be and we find ourselves not being who we want to be. We all have to start somewhere. We all have to know what we need as a person and individual....

"I've been busy!"-What have you been busy doing? When the new year comes, do you take time to look at what you have accomplished? Or do you just move forward full steam ahead. Lots of companies take some time around the holidays to show their employees how much they've done and how far they've come. Lots of people have a folder for their performance review to be able to tell their bosses what all...

What Labels Need to Come Off? 21.12.2022 18:31
We have a tendency to want to label things to organize them. Not just on drawers or cabinets, but ourselves, relationships, etc. What labels have been put on you that need to come off? Maybe someone called you lazy, stupid, impatient, or incapable and its not true but it took root. It make take peeling some layers as its been stuck for a while, but I'd bet with some persistence, some of those can...

What’s Your Status Quo? 07.12.2022 15:22
"I can't help it, its inherited." Do you ever find yourself using this as an excuse for a behavior your not real proud of? There are lots of things in life that could be inherited but are "dormant" in us. We can do things to be proactive and make sure it stays there. Now, does it always work? No. I'm talking about things like criticism, negativity, perfectionism. If multiple people, even generatio...
Being an Individual in Motherhood with Alison Avayu 16.11.2022 37:17
Growth and Change. Things that happen over and over through life. Throw in motherhood, and the world seems to flip upside down. Not necessarily good or bad, but it does flip. Routines change, activities change, friends change. We as moms know we'll change, but for some its more drastic than others. What do you do when pieces of your identity change and you don't know what they look like but you ca...

Anxiety Part 1 02.11.2022 16:33
What is it? Where does it come from? Do I have it? How do I deal with it? All good questions. I think anxiety is very misunderstood, both by people who have it and those who don't. Living with anxiety and living with someone who has anxiety are both hard. Learning how to manage and support is so important and quite crucial to those relationships because it takes both people. The person who struggl...
Imposter Syndrome 19.10.2022 26:39
Imposter Syndrome affects the majority of people in some way. We chalk it up to part of our personality that we don't like as much. It could come off as a weakness. Maybe I can shift your perspective and help you listen...
Can’t vs Won’t 28.09.2022 17:50
I use the word can't a lot and later conclude that I can, I just don't want to. Why? Because i'm tired, or its hard and I don't want to try, or because i want to finish what i'm doing. Very rarely do I find something that can't happen. The thing we need to do might be difficult or take a long time to figure out, but most times can be done. Its a change in mindset to replace can't with won't. Becau...
