P.S. I called it FREED KIN as a tribute to William Friedkin as I miss his talent and the To Live And Die In LA soundtrack is an inspiration on this track. Think dark gritty LA crime drama set at night...

A track made with a 909, Korg Monologue, Roland D-05 and a Digitone Keys.

Performed and sequenced live using a Roland TR-8S and the FM drum sounds. Recorded into a Pioneer RT-707 reel to reel at 7.5ips. Mastered in Wavelab at 96Khz using Weiss and NewFangledAudio mastering plugins.

An ambient, melodic and weird track. Lots of Tape saturation and old flavour. I was trying for a 70's dark movie score type sound. Written and recorded in 96khz on a 13" Macbook Pro using Arturia's Pigments, Jupiter 8 and NI String Samples. Effects used included Softube Tape, SSL Bus Compressor. Mastered in Wavelab using Weiss Mastering Plugins.
