Special Guest Pam Laurion just returned a few days ago from the REAL Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia. Her traveling companion and oldest grandson Alden made a great discovery - a cave with drawings that had not been documented before. Listening to her gives you the feeling that you are experiencing the exodus with Moses as your guide.

Still digging through Revelation, I take a look at the messages to the assemblies.

Looking at Revelation from a completely different perspective, we can speculate that there may have been mistakes in the translation. We can through careful study of information that is now available consider some of the early church fathers may have been writing without the benefit of all of the information they needed to know which could have led to some very unintended consequences.

I normally don't like to speak about Revelation so this must be something different. This time we're trying to separate fact from fiction.

The Biblical reason why we can never go back. Our Creator establishes a precedent in Genesis (long before the mixed multitude left Egypt) that we can never be allowed to go back to the way things were. Instead we move forward, striving to make things better and eventually we reach a place that will be far better than where we were.

We are warned many times in the Bibe against being fooled or taken advantage of. Here is a close look at why it is dangerous to be fooled.

Maybe someone invited you or maybe you moved to a new town, or maybe you’re looking for something different. The way you interact with with the people you will meet reveals much about you. The way they respond to you reveals much about them. Be certain to interpret their actions properly.

Solomon said there is nothing new under the sun, so when we witness events could we be seeing we've seen before? The answer is sometimes, but we need to be very careful how we interpret these things. One example of what is happening today in Europe could be compared to a big event in the Bible.

If you want to know who your friends really are begin a conversation with these words, if they stay - they’re your friends. In this episode I look at questions I am asked and why some avoid the conversation.

Because our Creator remains the same, we are the ones who will need to change the way we think, speak and act. Remember we are the ones who are being formed into what He wants us to be - our Creator will never change to be what we want Him to be.

No wall we could ever put up would stop evil - race, religion, political or geographical. Evil will find a way to penetrate our lives until the Messiah comes to rule with his iron rod. How we respond to evil - shows who we really are.

If you had someone tell you not to "hang out" with a certain person or group then you will understand - guilt by association. But are we defined by our friends or the organizations we belong to? Well, sometimes yes we are.

This time of year we often think about the events of the past 12 months. Remembering our disappointments and our triumphs helps us to improve our future. What does it really mean to think like our Creator? When the Bible repeats the same topics maybe it’s important and we need to adjust our thinking to match. I use an uncomfortable analogy, to introduce this concept so be ready - you might feel uncomfortable but if you do that shows you have compassion.

There are verses in the Bible that should cause us to stop but we read past them without thinking. There are verses that we don't always like and there are the verses that we think we will never be able to understand. Then there are the verses that we read and wonder how they were ever approved to be included.

The “fallout” however does have the potential to affect almost everyone else simply because as the wealthiest protestant denomination, the financial and following legal impact will send a shockwave around the world. Solomon writes some things at the beginning of Proverbs that are delightfully insightful IF we take the time to understand what he is implying. His wisdom gives us the chance to learn the importance of passing on good information to our young people and to remember how important it is that we continue to learn as well.
