This film features amazing filming techniques, purposeful dialogue and robust array of social discussions that we simply did not have enough time to go into everything this film has to offer. 

The 2020 retelling of the classic horror tale, The Invisible Man takes on a new approach that tackles the residual pain from domestic abuse. The Ghouls discussing some of the amazing filming techniques that make for a suffocating and voyeuristic film but also dive into the failures of the film, like regurgitating tired horror tropes.

The 4th installment in The Purge franchise tackles heavy issues we are facing today with the oppression, testing, and abuse towards marginalized communities that ultimately leads to the Purge. The Ghouls discuss how, when media takes direct action to make political statements, films can be used to express the pain in communities and inspire action!

Candyman (1992) is a must-watch and impactful film in the horror genre. Exploring the themes of gentrification and urban legends, Candyman in an attempt to reveal the toxicity in rumor and racism seems to only fuel it. The Ghouls discuss the importance of representation on film but also behind the scenes on set and in the writing room.

HBO's Watchmen takes on a new approach to the classic vigilante comic book by tackling the vast and insidious white supremacy within our country. Ghouls discuss generational pain, reparations and how you can't fix the system from the inside or from under a mask.
