“When it's all said and done, podcasts are just a medium of communication and the transfer of information. You mustn't confuse them with the real world. I'll translate myself into it.” Dive into Serial Experiments Lain ! The S...

“This 35mm screening of Ingmar Bergman’s Persona is mine. I think this entire theater may even just be a long, long dream I’m having. Everyone on the screen and in the rows of seats may just be illusions, and it can’t be proven whether or not you really exist either. In other words, this screening was created with me at the center. So what will happen if the reel runs out? I don’t know. My imagina...

"Long podcasts are such a crime. They take the limited amount of time that is given to man, and rather than spending it in indolence or drowning it in pleasure it just sits there sucking, eating it up. “Let me tell you how important it is to keep your mouth shut. Me, I’ve seen so many damn people going on and on about ‘these are the important themes in this show’ and “take these words with you on your commute”, and then that gives whoever they’re talking to an opening to get bored. Crazy, isn’t it? I see it all the time, in books, in plays, even on podcasts! I don’t even know why, but somehow th...

Just as a heads up: Connor’s connection was dropping out a bunch, especially at the beginning, and was a bit laggy as well. Niamh wasn’t trying to just talk over him so much! We start off with a weird digression into looking into Sci-Fi Channel’s Ani-Mondays block and then getting a rant from Niamh about Chrono Cross Remaster. After that we get into topics like the Japanese political dynamics in t...
