He was the only black man in town and when a band saw him sit down, they started playing and old black spiritual song and he sang along. I guess someday I'll get used to it but right now driving or walking on a lake covered in ice is still a mystery to me. Since the November election the idea of uniting a huge chunk of Blue Oregon with the Red state of Idaho is sounding more attractive to rural folks. In one poll 68% of Northwestern Oregonians thought the legislature should hold hearings to see what people think. But will it happen? Now, Wallow County has enough steam to join the movement.  Tonight an update.
