This past Sunday we started our new Sunday Conversation series: "Letters from a Father" where we will be journing through the book of 1st Timothy. In this first conversation Chris walks us through an overview of the book and how, at the core of this letter, Paul urges Timothy that its all about Jesus.

In this Sunday conversation we are in John 6:24 - 70 with Daena talking through the current state of human desire in the USA and how culture is forming us to treat Jesus as a thing to be consumed.

In our last episode of the Contend Series, Kai walks us through Who God is, What is His name, and Why God cares for the lost. Kai also touches on the community weekend fast we had where we prayed for breakthrough our Nation, our community, and ourselves.

In this Sunday conversation Tyler invites us to the value of scripture and contending for their importance in our lives.

In this installment of our Contend series, Meryl discusses the significance of mental health and the impact of the words we use about ourselves.

Within our Contend Conversation (what does it mean as followers of Jesus to fight for our faith) Chris highlights the practice of fasting. This serves a dual function, to better understand fasting, for a Genesis whole community water fast Oct 4th - 6th.

We take a interesting turn in Acts 9, where we have been following the story of Saul, to an abrupt switch to a section of stories involving Peter. In this conversation Chris walks us through these stories.

Picking up from last week where Hannah left off, Chris continues through the early moments of Paul's story.

Moving onto Chapter 9 in our Origins Series, through the book of Acts, Hannah leads us through Saul's journey on the road to Damascus.

In this conversation Chris leads us through the majority of Acts Chapter 8; telling the story of the Apostle Philip. 

Finishing out the story of Stephen from Actcs Chapter 7, Tyler leads through the text and the idea that in this life, even for followers of Jesus, we can not escape suffering.

Continuing in the message that Stephen gives the religious rulers in Acts Chapter 7, Sam brings us through the story of Moses, highlighting his early life, and unpacking the idea of going out before we are ready.

This passage perfectly lined up with introducing our new Elders this past Sunday. In this passage Chris leads us through Acts 6:1-8 where the apostles pick 7 leaders. 

In this conversation Chris brings us through the remainder of Acts chapter 5 and takes some time highlighting the backstory of Luke.

We are back into our conversation through the book of Acts! In this message Chris leads us through Acts 5:10 - 16.

As a final word on our Holy Spirit series Chris gives an exhortation, setting us up for an extended time of worship, that someone needs your gift. As a reminder, after Easter, we will be picking back up in our Origins Series, going chapter by chapter, through the book of Acts.
