Our lips were created to bless. We release blessing by the words (seed) we speak (sow). Self-awareness as well as God awareness is actualized by declaring our oneness with Christ. Partnering with others to help them journey is created by acknowledging who they are in Christ.

We are farming our way through life! God created the ground and provided it to us to be stewarded. Seed choice (our words) is ours however. By committing ourselves to good seed choices we "partner" with God in the harvest of provision.

So much of the unhappiness, disappointment, and lack of meaningful purpose in our lives comes from being self-centered. Loving others, being "other-centered" is the VACCINATION against the disease of being a sour, unfulfilled, victim of life.

Is it possible we are called by Jesus to lay our lives down not just for the lovely, those we agree with, those who think like we do, vote like we do, live like we do, worship like we do, and actually treat every human as we would treat (touch) Jesus? Doing so will "vaccinate" you from loathing, discord, bitterness, shame, victimization, and visceral hatred.

Do you feel  your faith is in God or is in what you believe about God? Ask yourself... 'Is God a cosmic cleric excessively concerned with whether you are thinking the correct thoughts and have all the right beliefs about God in place before you die? This message reveals that the only necessary activity of faith is trusting in Christ's faithfulness.

Faith isn’t a cosmic download of information and “correct” beliefs we can be certain about! Real faith is trusting God more than we do our correct beliefs. In this sermon Jeff unpacks the James chp1 difficulty of praying without doubt and asks the question, "Is it a sin to doubt the Bible?"

Questions aren't opposed to faith... if they were, Jesus wouldn't have used so many to teach us about faith, trust, and the nature of God. in Jesus' day, the Bible fundamentalists were called Pharisees... they were the Bible fundamentalists of their day. If they had a motto it would be, "the Bible says it, I believe it, and that settles it!"

Most people  do not understand how subversive the teaching of Jesus was. His provocative and rebellious teaching often contradicted the religious leaders of his day, including their systems, practices, and rituals.
