Hell is a real place of never-ending suffering. So, how could a loving God send people to hell? The better question to ask is, “How could someone reject such a loving God?” 1 Timothy 2:4 says God, “...wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” Sadly, many choose the road to hell by rejecting God’s truth.

Some people think all religions lead to the same God, but it’s not true. Jesus described only two roads that lead to your meeting with the one, true God: a wide road of religious works that ultimately leads to destruction and a narrow road of grace that leads to eternal life. Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

God’s Word says to love Him with all of our hearts AND our minds. Some Christians fear that science undermines our faith in God, but when we look closely we find that scientific evidence supports Christianity even when scientists don’t! Though the Bible wasn’t written as a scientific textbook, we can see thousands of examples that the Bible and science line up perfectly.

Are there contradictions in the Bible? The quick answer is “no!” Sometimes what may seem like a contradiction is actually a language barrier or is Scripture taken out of context. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true.” Read it, be confident in teaching it, and be fulfilled as you study more of God’s Word.

Most skeptics don’t want to believe miracles are possible, but God has always been and continues to be a miracle-working God. Jesus instructed in John 14:13 “You can ask for anything in my Name, and I will do it so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.” We can boldly pray for miracles and trust God for the results because he’s always good regardless of the outcome.

Leaders are a gift to the church; but they are also just people who struggle with sin at times. When someone lets you down, remember they are not the hero of our faith, Jesus is. Like Jesus, we can respond with mercy and compassion. Hurt will come but it doesn’t have to stay or wreck your ability to benefit from good leadership.

The Bible makes it clear that “we will have trouble” in this world, especially as we make progress in being Bold for Jesus. In Nehemiah 4, the Jews were forced to fight as they rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem. Just like them, the weapon is formed against us but it won’t prosper because we will succeed when we remember who we’re fighting for and who we are fighting with!

Romans 8:37 says, "...we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." We are called to have Bold faith for God. When we unify with others and look back at how God has provided in the past, God builds our faith and remedies our disgrace. We walk behind the Conqueror, reaping the benefits of His work.

Did you know your future will be determined by how faithful you are today? Galatians 6:7 says, "Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant." You can plan to be blessed by being generous and faithful. As you plant good seeds with a pure heart, God will reward you with more than you planted so that you can be even more faithful and generous to build Go...

We learn in 1 Timothy 2:4 that God desires that all people would be saved from their destructive ways. Lost people fear no one can help them. But God has placed you in their lives to bring them hope. Do you care that they are far from God? If not, why don't you? May God break our hearts and help us to care about what HE cares about that we might step out in BOLDNESS.

I love my church because my church is changing the world! We build our culture and future plans on reaching people far from God so they can experience new life in Jesus! 1 Timothy 2:4 says, “God our Savior... desires all men to be saved.” We will do whatever it takes to reach the lost and grow disciples!

While critical thinking can be a skill at times, it can easily lead to a critical spirit.  Jesus wants to free you from accusing and judging others through humility, compassion and mercy. “For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.” Matthew‬ ‭7:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Negative thoughts can take over your brain so quickly. Proverbs 4:23 tell us to, “Carefully guard your thoughts because they are the source of true life.” What you seek you will find; so fix your focus and seek God and His ways as you train your brain to overcome negative thoughts.

The cross has become a common symbol in our day, but do you know the original significance? Do you know how severe the punishment Jesus took on? In this final week of The Parables of Jesus, we focus on a story about a shepherd leaving his 99 sheep to find one lost sheep. This shepherd displays the heart of Jesus as our “Good Shepherd” in that every single person is valuable in God’s sight. He desires “that none should perish”. God runs to everyone far from Him and joyfully carries them home because of His great love for us!
