Geek Mentality

Tonight I thought I’d sit down and watch a nice little ghost story – and that’s exactly what 2015’s Crimson Peak was.

I'm sorry, did you think I was above watching a direct to DVD animated superhero cartoon? Obviously not - because tonight I watched 2015's Batman vs. Robin and when I started it I didn't even realize it was a direct sequel to a movie I watched exactly two years ago yesterday .

I have wonderful news! After watching 2014’s Transformers: Age of Extinction , I am officially caught up with these damn movies and don’t have to watch enough one… This year anyway .

Finally watched the 2015 documentary, The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened? , which talks all about the Tim Burton/Nicolas Cage Superman movie from the 1990s that almost happened. But didn't. My only issue is that it ended - because I loved every minute of it.

Tonight I had some creepy fun watching 2014's It Follows . Kind've a silly premise, but they still made it into a serious little horror flick.

For some reason I decided to catch up with the Transformers movies - so tonight (and this morning and this afternoon) I watched the third one, 2011's Transformers: Dark of the Moon . https://fansnotexperts.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/FNEmoviemonth21-1.jpg

In this episode, Mike talks while taking an early morning walk. He talks about a few shows that were canceled that he will miss – and one show that moved networks….as if you can’t guess what that is.

Yet again I woke up really early this morning at my cousin's house. This time I watched 2014's The Expendables 3 . There were just too many unanswered questions in part 2 for me to ignore.

So today I woke up really early again (this time at my cousin's house) and watched 2015's Hot Tub Time Machine 2 . Yeah, I'm not sure why either.

Cowabunga dude! Today (really early this morning) I watched 2014's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles . It was about what I expected.

This movie has been on my radar for a while now and I today, on HBO, I FINALLY watched 2014's What We Do In The Shadows . HILARIOUS!

Finally sat down and watched the 2016’s 10 Cloverfield Lane tonight! And thoroughly enjoyed it!

Today I watched a really fun documentary on Netflix - 2014's Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films . If you ever wondered "Who the hell made this movie?" well it's a good bet that the guys at Cannon Films did.

I was 12 years old when the original Child's Play came out - and I saw it in the theater with my dad and brother (my dad was cool like that!). 28 years later I've finally seen the sixth movie in the franchise - from 2013 - the art house film - Curse of Chucky . Wanna play?

It took my seven years to watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen . I think it was worth the wait - not that the movie was good. It's just worth it because I only have one day of memories seeing this thing - not seven years' worth.

Tonight I basically watched two classic action sci-fi movies get erased from the timeline – because I watched 2015’s Terminator Genisys .

Tonight I was both scared and anxious as I watched the 2016 horror film Hush .

A zombie movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger?? It's not exactly what you think. Of course I'm talking about today's movie - 2015's Maggie .

Unless it's a book about a boy wizard named Harry, I don't need to see the final story in a series spread out into two books. But I watched 2014's The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 anyway.

I'm on a roll! I picked another great movie tonight - directed by the great Ridley Scott and starring Matt Damon, tonight's feature film is 2015's The Martian .

Tonight I finally saw the amazing Creed from 2015. STALLONE WAS ROBBED AT THE OSCARS! Listen as I talk about it while taking a walk around the neighborhood earlier tonight

Tonight I finally caught this year’s Deadpool . Listen below as I try to talk about the movie, but mostly just incoherently babble on.

Tonight I finally saw 2015's Jurassic World . Spoiler alert: I really liked it. Listen below to find out just how much!

I don't think I have enough good things to say about Marvel Studios' most recent release, the brand new  Captain America: Civil War .

I fell asleep and woke up with just enough time to finish today's movie, 2015's  Ant-Man .
