The very first Christmas was far from peaceful. We can learn so much about the very first Christmas and how it impacts our Christmas. God have His greatest gift in the midst of our greatest need!

-God's desire is to work through every family to demonstrate His story of restoration and redemption. -God doesn't use perfect pictures. He uses broken people.

There are all kinds of reasons for the purpose of our parenting. The Bible gives us a divine plan for how we invest in our kids well. The purpose of our parenting is to teach and train our children to love God, love others and leave home. Our objective is not to raise great kids; its to raise great adults.

All of us grew up with a broken family picture. There are no perfect family pictures in the Bible. God doesn’t use perfect pictures, He uses broken people. God calls us to evaluate our family of origin and ask for His help in changing us so that we can have a different family. God calls us to invest in our families and leave a legacy of faith.

Adoption is gospel centered. It’s near the heart of God. Treasured Ministry casts vision about the importance of how God redeems people’s family picture.

We live in a world that struggles to have hope. We learn that hope is found in a blood-stained cross and an empty tomb. It give us a reason to live, hope beyond this life and communicates what we’re worth. You matter to God!

Every person on the planet has experienced the painful words, actions or decision of someone else that left us wounded. The question that we all have is, “What do we do with this?” God gives us practical insight and answers the question, “Why should I forgive?”

In a world full of worry and anxiety…God gives us application that moves us towards peace and trust. Jesus said 8 powerful words in Matthew 14:27—Take courageous! It is I. Don’t be afraid. Worry or peace—the decision is ours.

When the courageous life of Jesus collides with our lives—we become contagious. Mark 2 speaks about the story of 4 guys who brought their friends to Jesus. God calls us to share God’s story of redemption with others.

The mission of the church is to help others know the love of God through the life of Jesus. Dangerous churches are made up of dangerous people, willing to take dangerous risks, to save people from a dangerous destiny—Gene Apple.

Jesus prayer for His church is that we’d be one. When we’re one—the world will know that we’re His disciples. “In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, and in all things love.”—Barton W. Stone & Thomas Campbell. We have to fight for our oneness and love each other well.

Jesus went all in so that we could know the love of the Father and be adopted into His family. The Bible describes the church as a bride, a flock, and a family. God calls us to be committed to His Body, to serve whole heartedly, give sacrificially, belong in a Life Group, and invest in the mission.

The church was God’s idea. God’s vision for the church is that we would partner with God to rescue and redeem those that God’s loves. The church is all about Jesus.
