This sermon was delivered on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles 1993. Tabernacles, in God's Seasonal Holy Day plan of salvation means not just a foreshadowing of the Kingdom but that we, humans, live in a temporary physical body or tabernacle and look forward to our change to an everlasting, permanent spiritual body.

Are we "called out" by God to get salvation? Or is there something else?

Jesus Christ had perfect emotional control just as God the father has perfect emotional control. But Jesus Christ was "like unto us", capable of being tempted to sin. But He never did sin. He overcame sin, He controlled his actions and thoughts. He was tempted as we are but He never gave in to sin. That is why He is able to be and is our perfect Saviour.

Human nature tends toward vanity, lust and greed - rich ingredients to cook up sin. But we also and often have an unseen partner in sin - Satan the Devil and his demons. Satan, the god of this world as described by the Bible - 2 Cor. 4:4 and 2 Cor. 11:13. The coming great falls religious leader is going to appear Christlike.
