Whether, you are married, divorced, or remarried, God wants to help you make your present marriage, if you are in one, one that reflects His compassion and faithfulness. (Mark 10:1-12)

Make a radical choice to obey Jesus by reordering your priorities, making the hard choices necessary to cut out the garbage and by pursuing all that He has for you. (Mark 9:42-50).

In this text Jesus seizes upon a teachable moment to show us that we must fight the temptation to pursue worldly greatness by being first.  We must come to understand that we are not The GOAT, He is!

As we are willing to let go of self-reliance and move from weakness to willingness we can experience the mighty work of The LORD as we cry out “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

There are times when God breaks through the darkness of this world and reveals Himself to us for a brief moment, inviting us up to the mountain-top.  Climb the mountain and remember how deep the Father's love for His Son is, and how great Their sacrifice for you is!

There is a cost to discipleship but there’s an even greater cost to not following Christ.  The call to discipleship may be costly, but it is totally worth it!

Have your spiritual eyes been opened so that you are motivated to move beyond the easy believism of cultural Christianity to see the real, true and saving faith of following Jesus?

In this text Jesus responds in some unique ways, including a series of questions designed to move His true followers to from wrong responses to the appropriate response. (Mark 8:11-21)

Will we trust Jesus enough to reach out with compassion to someone today because we see, feel and desire to meet their need?  Compassion Matters!  (Mark 8:1-10)

In this passage the people witnessing Jesus' miracle come to a remarkable conclusion based on their observation: Jesus does ALL Things Well!  So, we ask the question, if Jesus does all things well, what does that mean for you and me?  (Mark 7:31-37)

It's important to stay pure in an impure world, but we’d better have the right strategy- and that strategy is to pay close attention to our heart. (Mark 7:14-23)

We must be on guard that our preferred traditions and church culture never become barriers that keep people away from coming to The Truth of Jesus. (Mark 7:1-13)

When the going gets tough, rely on Jesus, He’s there for you! (Mark 6:45-56)

Our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to share The Gospel with urgency recognizing that some will accept, many will reject, but we are still called to share! (Mark 6:7-13)

This section of Mark’s Gospel helps us to understand that every person is valuable to Jesus.  Jesus will receive us whether we are respected or rejected, or somewhere in between. We will see how much Jesus values a man, a woman and a young child as we discover that sometimes Desperate Times call for Desperate

We are shackled by sin and Satan is sabotaging our lives.  That’s why we need the Savior.  Jesus desires to enter in to the mess of our life and set us free.

The mysterious, growing nature of God’s kingdom should not surprise us, but instead delight us!

When the seed of the gospel gets into our heart amazing growth will happen. (Mark 4:1-20)

Satan wants to steal our hope and joy-- but when we make the decision to move from rejection to acceptance we are immersed in forgiveness from The Father and can now overcome fear, shame and doubt.

Jesus is looking for people willing to move away from watching and toward doing.  He calls us to move out of the stands and onto the field!  (Mark 3:7-19)

Compassion is superior to man-made rules and traditions. (Mark 2:18-28)

Jesus models for us unexpected action and behavior as He spends time with people far from God.  (Mark 2:13-17)

The very best help we can offer to someone is to help remove any any barriers that keep them from coming to Christ.  Mark 2:1-12

Jesus calls His followers to prioritize a place for prayer and to preach in all places.  Mark 1:35-39
