Gaming with Grief Podcast

So, let's say you're exploring some old catacombs below Castle Kalaman. Then out of of nowhere, a phantom ghost memory shows up and tells you the worst parts of a biography about the worst Knight of Solamania, well then you got yourself a session there.

The castle suck too, well until that meet a ghost that can control the party. And well it kind of works out. Yuriel does some strange stuff. And they find a tunnel to the Raided Catacombs blah, blah, Knights something.

The PC's are in a bit of a bind. That try to buy croissants when they get back to Kalaman, but unfortunately, some undead have taken over the town. Wyhan, the black robbed mage hires some Knights of The Sword. Then everyone, and I mean everyone fights at the Castle Courtyard.

I have a friend of mine on to talk about what Final Fantasy has meant to him over the years. As someone who has only recently started playing the series, I ask Tim what games are his personal essentials as well as a good place to start in the series if you are new. Like me.

Well, after the "incident" Wheelwatch Outpost the group decides to go back and lick their wounds a bit, and maybe just maybe take another crack at it. That is until they find out something else is worse back in Kalaman.

So there we were. Sneaking into Wheelwatch Outpost. Fighting happens, and well, sometimes, just sometimes you have to check your exits. A Dragonnel shows up. And things go crazy from there.

After a lot a soul searching and sleeping on it(Twice) I'm now moving the podcast to a monthly release. I talk about it on this episode and talk about the release schedule.

Avin and I talk about the state of the Democrats and Biden as well as Trump, and oh boy, we do a little segment at the end because the news broke about Trump after we got done recording the episode. We got all of our impressions in this video though.

Did that go well? We might have to wait and see. They did get the drop on some of the guards, but some guards actually show up with some more guards. Can I say guards again? Yes.

After the Hill Barbarian's fought the group everyone decided to rest by a fire, and then go up and meet a nice Cleric by the name of Adrick. He tells them that he was to report to Martok anyway and that he knows a bit about Wheelwatch Outpost. There is also some "special" training that happens.

It's been a ruff week for me. It's okay to not be okay. Let's talk about logging off of social media and unplugging for a bit.

The Road Wheelwatch Outpost was kinda bad, but the best part is the party was able to come through unscathed. Well, kind of. The Barbarian tribes were ruff in these parts of Krynn and we get to see how much.

Almost a hundred episodes later, the sequel to Senua's Sacrifice is out and I talk about the ups and downs(I feel)This game is so strange for me, articulating some amazing things as well as rehashing some things from the 2017 game. Spoilers are on.

After helping Tatina Rookledust out of the goblin problem the PC's help some Knights of Solamnia from being killed. They then find a shortcut back to Kalaman, but not before Tatina looks and with O'Grady's help unsuccessfully open a cache of parts and pieces she needs in here experiments.

O'Grady meet with a special someone who give him some gifts, and the rest of the group is contracted by The Knights of Solamnia to go see about an inventor in a lab. And there is goblins, just a few.

The party explores the town of Kalaman and run into a pretty interesting shop-keep. They get some potions and they also happen upon the worst crossiant shop. Oh and Martok is a Knight now, and the mages may do mage things with the other mages. This may be a thing that comes up later. Remember to like and subscribe to the podcast.

Another great game. This time developed by Roll 7. I'm better at this game then I was at Hi-Fi Rush, but not by much. So let's talk about the Rollderdrome has so much style I've haven't seen a game like it in a while. Let's talk about it.

A bit of a time crunch episode, but the PC's report to the local, well everyone about the fighting that happened in Vogler and with any good employee the numbers go up. Watch the group try to win commanders over that they don't really care about.

The PC's make it to Kalaman, well outside of it anyway. Leedera, the ghost they met before answers some questions for them, and a few factions(i.e., the Mages of High Sorcery and the Knights of Solamnia) try to recruit the party to their causes. And, magical croissants for some reason.

The PC's find out about Cudgel and her betrayal. Also, they find a bit more about the Dragon Queen. They talk with Becklin and the other Knights of Solamnia about a plan of attack, so it's decided that the group survey's the hills to see if any other forcers are gathering to attack the town.

I don't usually don't do movie reviews, but Saturday my wife and I both went and saw Tuesday, a powerful movie that talks about death and how people deal with it. A short spoiler-free affair this week. Enjoy.

Well, the fight to help Vogler takes place. The group gets into a spat with the KoS. In a bid to buy some time for the townspeople to retreat, the group may or may not have seen a Boilerdrak. So there is that.

I play Destiny for fun all the time. Little did I know the final expansion for the light and dark sage, The Final Shape, was all about processing life and death, and the nuance that comes with it all. I talk about it. A lot.
