Game Time With Manny

I am now a homeowner and have moved all my stuff into the house. I am here on the podcast in spirit, but my body is rebelling! Thankfully I make it long enough to talk to Matt about how dope Jedi Survivor is and also some Pikmin 4. The news is pretty light, but with EVO coming up there's still some to talk about!

Two weeks have gone by and we have returned to talk about the Microsoft vs. FTC case, and some other miscellaneous news. Most of this weeks episode is taken up by us talking about the tons of games we've been playing. Diablo 4, and Dave the Diver take up a majority of the discussion.

Nintendo did a surprise direct, which introduced such wild bombs as a Super Mario RPG remake, and Elephant Mario. Matt and I come back for the new year and return to our original every other week schedule. There's barely any news, so we mostly talk about the tons of stuff we've been playing like Citizen Sleeper. Omori, Dante's Inferno and Castlevania Lord of Shadows. To finish we check out a list of games that are coming out in 2023 and choose which ones we're most excited about.

Game of the Year is back again for another round! As usual we count down out top games of the year from ten to one. Matt and I had a lot more similarities than we have in previous years!

2022 is coming to a close, so that mean it's GOTY season. To start off we do our annual categories podcast. After two weeks I have returned with a cold! I sound congested and cough the whole time! Despite that we manage to make our way through the news and the Game Awards world exclusives. The games we've been playing are largely the same, but we're actually finishing them now. Since I am sick please forgive me for not cutting the weird 30 seconds were I thought Matt disconnected from the call!

The news is essentially a barren wasteland, but Matt is high on Christmas spirit as we talk about some announced release dates and a Pokemon patch that has people going buck wild on each other. I played Pokemon and like 30 minutes of God of War and Matt only played a little bit of it! This episode is truly a banger. You won't want to miss it!

The Game Awards nominations are where we spend a majority of the news time before mentioning the current gen Withcer 3 Patch and the upcoming Splatoon 3 season. Then Matt talks bit about Rabbids, God of War, and Bayonetta before I get far too passionate about Pokemon Scarlet/Violet.

Nibellion leaves Twitter, Pokémon is coming out soon, and Control 2 was announced. Since we missed last week there's actually a decent amount of stuff to talk about. As for the games we've been playing this episode is absolutely stacked. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Bayonetta 3, God of War: Raganarok, Until Dawn, and the new Plague Tale! It's the day before I move, but we still manage to find time to talk about the weird Bayonetta voice debacle nd some other stuff. I've been playing a ton of Disney Dreamlight Valley and a bit of Vampire Survivors 1.0. Matt started Grid Legends. If I remembered more about this one I would have typed it haha.

We return for a normal day and talk about the bits of Pokémon news over the past two weeks and the new Need for Speed game that apparently comes out in two months. Guys, I'll be honest. This was supposed to go up last week and it didn't end up happening. I forget what even happens in this episode since it was recorded early on a Wednesday.
