Game Pass Grab Bag

This week we had a couple listeners request Maneater, By; Tripwire Interactive. Play the role of a blood thirsty shark in this 3rd person shaRkPG. Chomp your way up the food chain as you try to avenge your mother. 

This week the gang played Dragon Quest Builders 2 by; Square Enix, Koei Tecmo, and Omega Force. Take control of one of the last remaining builders, as you fight against the Children of Hargon who are hell bend on destroying everything. 

This week we decided to pair up and take on the wacky adventure of Phogs! by; Bit Loom Games. Have you and a friend take control of either red or blue as you bark and stretch your way through various worlds. Or you can be like mostly alone Keith and try to struggle solo. Does Phogs make us bark with excitement or is it ruff.

This week a listener request we review Dead Space by; Visceral Games. Dead Space is a third person action horror survival game, where you play and engineer who is apparently really good at shooting limbs off. He may have a knack for dismemberment but he does not have the talent of speech or emotion. if only Keith had the same trait

This week Keith has been waiting a long time for a listener to request Forza Horizon 4 by; Playground Studios. Forza Horizon 4 is a arcade style racer with just enough realism, where you are a random driver that is going out throughout the English countryside to promote the Horizon Festival. This week Keith recommended Rain on Your Parade by; Unbound Creations. Play a mischievous little cloud as you make your great journey to the mythical land of Seattle. Solve various puzzles as the gameplay keeps changing on you. Listen to the childish glee Keith gets when he describes how he made a fart cloud...in the game.

This week the gang played Outriders by; People Can Fly and published by; Square Enix. Outriders is a third person cover based looter shooter. You play an Outrider with special abilities that is trying everything in their power to save the last remnants of humanity. In the end though you probably kill way more humans then you help.

Some things never change. Like Keith picking another action platformer. This time it's Narita Boy by; Studio Koba. Play the role of Narita Boy, a youth who was sucked into a 80's computer game. You are the chosen one who must save the digital kingdom from an evil virus. You know, basically Tron. 

This week Liz picked Dishonored by; Arkane studios. Since Liz loved Prey from Arkane Studios Liz was hoping to love this. Find out if she did or is this another pass. Explore the city of Dunwall in this first person stealth action game, where you play Corvo an empresses bodyguard who is framed for murder. With all the silent killing do we make any fart jokes? That is the real important question.

This week Keith chose for us Undertale by; Toby Fox. Undertale is and old school turn base RPG with a twist. Instead of learning new skills you have to dodge enemy attacks and figure out if you want to spare the monsters or kill them. This game makes it hard to kill when all the characters are just so likeable.

This week a listener picked Trailmakers by; Flashbulb Games. Solve puzzles as you try to build vehicles from the ground up. Explore an alien planet as you try to build a spaceship to get back home. Race your friends online with your own creations. With a game with both driving and puzzle solving you know Liz must of loved this game.

This week a listener picked a game for Liz which is Slime Rancher by; Monomi Park. Slime Rancher is a first person property management game where you ranch slimes. Don't know if ranching is a verb. You play a character who is trying to make it as a slime rancher at the Far Far Range. Uncover the mystery of what happened to the previous owner as you collect numerous slime poops.

Dive deep in this latest listener requested episode. Deep Rock Galactic by: Ghost Ship Games. Gather your buddies as you dive in the procedurally generated caves of Hoxxes. Can you and your crew complete your mission and make it back to the drop pod before time runs out? Can you not be like Keith an for once not die from falling of a ledge? He gets left behind a lot.

This week a listener recommended Call Of The Sea By; Out Of The Blue Games. In this first person puzzle game you play Nora who is trying to uncover the mystery behind her illness and her husbands crew. Enjoy your stroll through this jungle as you slowly walk and possibly run even slower. Did the sea call all of us or did some of us block the call like an ex?

We had a listener pick to play Monster Train by: Shiny Shoes studio. Monster train is a 2D deck builder roguelike where you are trying to reignite the pyre of hell. This week we tackle Remedy Studios latest game, Control. You take control of Jesse a girl looking for her brother who was taken by the Federal Bureau of Control after you mistakenly opened a portal to another astral plane. Uncover the mystery of what is happening to the FBC.

This week Keith picked Monster Sanctuary By; Moi Rai Games. Travel across the land searching far and wide in this 2D platformer/ turn based RPG. Each monster will help you understand the power that resides inside. That should be enough to avoid copyrights. 

This week a listener recommended Celeste by; Matt Makes Games. Can you climb the mystical mountain of Celeste in this brutally difficult 2D platformer. Challenge your skills as you collect strawberries which is a missed opportunity to collect frozen pizzas. Can you guess which host needed assistance climbing?(hint it wasn't Keith or Andrew)

Keith wanted to change things up and not play a platformer so he pick Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville by; Pop Cap studios. In this third person hero shooter you take the role of either a plant or zombie. Which I believe is how the game gets its name. Play the campaign with some friends or solo if you're like me and don't like people. You can also play the hectic 24 player PVP.

This week we got a listener request for Planet Coast by: Frontier Studios. Play the role of a theme park architect as you try to appease the whiney masses. Design everything with great detail or be lazy like me and download creations from fellow gamers on the workshop. Does this game finally dethrone the Roller Coaster Tycoon as the best park sim? This week a listener picked Brutal Legends by: Double Fine Studios. Get transported to the world of metal in this third person action game.
