It can be quite confusing when you see religious leaders going against what is in the Bible, so Pastor John wanted us to know whether it's coming from the Holy Spirit or if its blasphemy.

This morning Pastor John taught us what the Bible means by being Wise as Serpents, Harmless as Doves.

The devil can twist things to make us think they are the right thing, that is extremely apparent in the story of Barabbas. He twisted the facts enough that the people chose to let him go instead of Jesus.

Trees that are planted by the water get all everything they need from the water, so they grow stronger and are healthier than trees that are farther away. It's like that with Jesus too, the closer you are to Him the stronger you will be in the spirit.

When the fires of life start up, do you have a fourth man to come in a protect you, make Jesus your fourth man.

The joy of the Lord comes from spending time in His word and understanding who He is and just how much He loves us.
