When you see what is going on in the world today it is hard to keep your faith going, but it’s more important than ever to keep going and not give up on God.

Sometimes Christians can lose their fire for the things of God, they may still go to church, they may still pray, but they don’t have the same desire for God, that is called being lukewarm, and it can be very dangerous because it allows satan the room to wiggle his way into their lives and create havoc. God is sovereign over this Earth, but He does not give people sickness or depression.

God is love, he doesn’t just have love, He is love, that is why our highest commandment is to walk in love, so we can walk in the footsteps of Jesus

Christians can feel like they are inadequate these days with the way the world is going, but we are promised that God is at His strongest when we are at our weakest. What does that mean? It means that we need to be guided by Him, rest in Him, and allow Him to consume our lives in every way. When we do that, it takes us and our inadequacies out of the equation and puts it all on him.

As Christians we are to be lifters of people.

God is enough!

Satan is going to use all His tricks to pull us away from God and the first place he will start is the local church.  We need to be aware of this and not let strife and offense in our church body. There are no perfect churches, because there are no perfect people, that is why we need grace, and once we receive grace it is our job to give it out freely.

We are called to be a body in the church, each of us have gifts and talents for the body. We each have a part to play and we need to stick together.

The Bible is the true, unchanging, living Word of God. It is the instruction book for life, so it truly words to live by.
