Jesus, our ultimate example, counted it all joy to endure the cross. Our joy must be rooted in eternity!

As we look at the things of first importance, the fact that Christ died is right there. Christians need to be immersed in Christ and also in Christ's death. Today, we look at what defines us as Christians immersed in Christ.

God has a heart that is for the orphan and the widow, a fact that we see throughout Scripture. Derrick from Voice of the Martyrs shares the reality of caring for widows and orphans from a Biblical viewpoint on the frontlines of persecution. 

As Christians, we all play a part in the frontline mission work of spreading the Gospel. For some of us, that role is support. We find Timothy strengthening and encouraging His co-laborers in Christ as they suffer persecution. Find someone to encourage today!

Acts 2 marks the beginning of the church of Jesus Christ. This early church was united, and when persecuted, only continued to grow. Today, we see the fruits of a church united.

Many things in life can be taken away or chained up, and we can sometimes feel like we are in bondage. But 2 Timothy assures us that the Word of God can never be imprisoned. Today, we are reminded, just as Paul reminded Timothy, to remember Jesus Christ!

A called-out people call out to their God. Prayer is powerful and it must be a part of the church's lifestyle. Jesus tells us that all those who follow Him can expect persecution, so what will our answer be when persecution is knocking on our door?

In Matthew 23, Jesus makes it very clear where the religious leaders were in their spiritual lives. It is all about what is in our hearts, and this is what they were missing. In this sermon, we learn from the mistakes of the religious hypocrites.

Throughout the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus is consistently referred to as the Son of David, a title that highlights His humanity. Alongside this, He is also revered as Lord. In this message, we explore the significance of fully embracing Jesus as Lord of our lives, rather than merely acknowledging Him as the Son of David.

In Matthew 22 we find Jesus' parable about the Wedding Feast where one guest is found without the proper clothing. Humility and righteousness found in Jesus Christ alone is the key to having the proper clothing for the wedding feast. Today, we talk about the problem of being consumed with the physical that we miss the spiritual.

Matthew 21 gives us a great example of how the Old Testament constantly connects and intertwines with the New Testament. Jesus, the chief cornerstone, is the one that we should build everything in our lives upon. Without it, we will be scattered like the dust.

Where would you like to see God's redemption in your life? At the end of Matthew 21, Jesus shares about two sons' responses and actions that follow. We see this principle at work in our lives! It’s a beautiful reminder that God’s redemption is never out of reach, no matter how far we’ve strayed. Have there been areas of transformation or healing that you didn’t expect?

The King of the universe was consistently moved with compassion and lived His life on earth as a servant. Today, it can be easy to lose sight of the place and purpose of a Christian. Just as Jesus gave us the example, we are to be servants all the days of our lives!

Now is the best time to lay down any idol in your life. We must put first things first; we must put God and the kingdom of heaven as priorities in our everyday lives.

Can you get a divorce for any reason at all? That was the question that the Pharisees asked Jesus (Matthew 19:3). In this chapter Jesus shows us His Kingdom Community; the value of marriage, the value of kids and true wealth.

The timeless truth of reaping and sowing is as present in our lives as it has ever been! Do not miss an opportunity to reap bountifully into eternal life. You reap what you sow!

God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. Let's walk in the light this Christmas as we boast in our King and Savior Jesus Christ.

Darkness has always been a part of the human experience, but praise the Lord as Christians we have the Light! From the past to the present, Jesus Christ has always and forever will reign over the darkness. In Jesus there is victory!

As the true Light, Jesus commands us to follow the light and be the light. Recognizing the Light at work in our lives, we must continue to witness about Him who has come.

God is the light of the world! As children of God, he calls us to be light and darkness cannot exist in the presence of light. Today we see what it looks like to be the hands-on light of Christ in a dark world.

Jesus is the reason for the season. He is our light and our salvation! As Christians, we are called to be a light to the world, and what better time to do so than at Christmas. Praise the Lord; light always overcomes the darkness!

Christian correction rests on God's opinion. As we look at the second half of Matthew 18, we can see that correction and confirmation come by Holy Spirit consensus. We are called to hold each other accountable and agree upon God's truth.

As Christians in the United States, we are granted the invaluable gift of religious liberty, a privilege that calls us to action.
