The King of the universe was consistently moved with compassion and lived His life on earth as a servant. Today, it can be easy to lose sight of the place and purpose of a Christian. Just as Jesus gave us the example, we are to be servants all the days of our lives!

Now is the best time to lay down any idol in your life. We must put first things first; we must put God and the kingdom of heaven as priorities in our everyday lives.

Can you get a divorce for any reason at all? That was the question that the Pharisees asked Jesus (Matthew 19:3). In this chapter Jesus shows us His Kingdom Community; the value of marriage, the value of kids and true wealth.

The timeless truth of reaping and sowing is as present in our lives as it has ever been! Do not miss an opportunity to reap bountifully into eternal life. You reap what you sow!

God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. Let's walk in the light this Christmas as we boast in our King and Savior Jesus Christ.

Darkness has always been a part of the human experience, but praise the Lord as Christians we have the Light! From the past to the present, Jesus Christ has always and forever will reign over the darkness. In Jesus there is victory!

As the true Light, Jesus commands us to follow the light and be the light. Recognizing the Light at work in our lives, we must continue to witness about Him who has come.

God is the light of the world! As children of God, he calls us to be light and darkness cannot exist in the presence of light. Today we see what it looks like to be the hands-on light of Christ in a dark world.

Jesus is the reason for the season. He is our light and our salvation! As Christians, we are called to be a light to the world, and what better time to do so than at Christmas. Praise the Lord; light always overcomes the darkness!

Christian correction rests on God's opinion. As we look at the second half of Matthew 18, we can see that correction and confirmation come by Holy Spirit consensus. We are called to hold each other accountable and agree upon God's truth.

As Christians in the United States, we are granted the invaluable gift of religious liberty, a privilege that calls us to action. Matthew 18 encourages believers to take care of personal sin and to grow in holiness as a church. In this message, we dive into what the word 'holy' means and how we can apply it in our lives as the church.

The metaphor of the mustard seed really highlights how even a small amount of faith can lead to significant change. It’s a reminder that we don’t need to have all the answers; just a bit of faith can open the door to incredible possibilities. Even when we can't see the other side, Our God still moves mountains. Be encouraged to put a little faith in a big God!

Jesus had a small inner circle of men who experienced aspects of His life that no one else could. Matthew 17 provides a great example of the type of people we should include in our inner circle of friends and the significance of those relationships. At the center of it all, we find Jesus, our Lord of Glory.

Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith, and understanding Him and His teachings is vital to the church as a whole. While following Him may come at a cost, knowing Him is greater than all else. As we navigate our journey of faith, it is important to remain vigilant against false teachings and to steadfastly uphold Jesus as our foundation.

Have you recently undergone testing of your faith? As Christians, we are called to place our complete trust in Jesus Christ. Just as He provided sustenance with a few loaves and fish, He remains our provider today. We all have needs that only Jesus can fulfill; therefore, let us commit to placing our faith in Him.

In our digital age, would you rather have a picture of something or would you prefer the real thing? The Pharisees had the picture from the O.T. but they continued to choose the picture over the real thing. It's important that we do not join ourselves to the Pharisees uplifting our own preferences and "traditions" over the Word of God.

Once again, Jesus went up to pray. Would Jesus send His disciples into a storm? Yep. Jesus sent the disciples out onto a stormy sea... and met them there. Walking on water wasn't a cool party trick. Peter got out of the boat to be closer to his God. 

Of the four Herod's mentioned in the New Testament none of them were known to be good. What can we learn from the life of Herod Antipas? That the spirit of Herod exists today. What does the spirit of Herod look like in our community today? Listen in as was walk into Matthew 14.

Are you a fighter? There are many situations that you would not want to fight but when it comes to our Christian faith we are to fight to hold on to the faith. When life gets hard, when things happen you don't understand, will you hold onto the faith or will you wander away? Three times the Apostle Paul uses the phrase, "Fight the good fight of the faith." In this message we look at all three.

Do you hold on to the right things? It's easy to remember the bad things but the Spirit-filled believer will "hold fast" to the right things. These are the things that the Spirit of God brings to mind. The busier life gets the more distracted we become. Beware that you hold fast to your foundation in Jesus Christ.

What is the spiritual armor for? To make us STAND FIRM. God has given us His tools for spiritual battle. To use them doesn't take special rituals or spiritual gymnastics... They are truth, righteousness, gospel, faith, salvation and the word of God. Do you stand in God's perspective when it comes to this armor?

Have you learned how to walk? Before coming to Christ, you walked the way of the world but now that you are a Christian you walk by the Spirit. What does the Spirit-filled Christian walk look like? It's a Spirit VS flesh battle. Submit yourself to following the Spirit of God and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.

The first step in living the Spirit-filled life is to die to yourself. In Christianity the 'old you' is dead. You are given a new nature that seeks to please and listen to the Holy Spirit. Praise God for the opportunity we have for new life!

God established a New Covenant in Jesus Christ! Jesus fulfills all the other covenants in a miraculous way. Jesus gives us the blessings promised through Abraham and renews our relationship with God.
